I hurt myself getting out of bed this morning.
Another goalie injury for #NYR: James Reimer is day-to-day with an upper-body injury.
Also, Sean Durzi is getting another maintenance day for today’s practice.

The underlying metrics for Lafrenière were buzzing and supporters insisted he would blossom if he a coach who put him in a position to shine, which Sullivan has.
I am a believer in Laba's abilities but his underlyings are absolutely brutal.
It’s funny that the same folks who consistently noted Alexis Lafrenière needed time, which he did, have the audacity to crucify Noah Laba after 88 NHL games.

Maybe I have unrealistic standards but I'd personally like the third-line center to have more goals than a goaltender who destroyed his knee 4.5 games into the season.

Don't know if this means anything, but in eight seasons covering the #NYR, the net on the south side of the training center has belonged to two goalies: Lundqvist, then Shesterkin. Garand took it over when Igor got hurt, now Reimer is in there for this morning's skate.
