Last Friday, 20-year-old @weareangelcity defender Savy King collapsed on-field during a NWSL match. Fortunately, she received medical attention immediately and had heart surgery this week after doctors determined she had a heart abnormality. Her family released a statement that Savy's prognosis is "excellent."
Cardiac emergencies can happen to anyone at any time and anywhere. Heart screenings can help you and your doctor identify potential problems before they develop into more serious conditions. And making sure you know how to perform CPR and use an AED can help you spring into action quickly if someone near you has a cardiac emergency. Being proactive with heart health can literally save a life.

The high school football player couldn’t run in a straight line.
He tried to take a knee.
He collapsed.
His coach allegedly told him if he didn’t take a knee, he’d never play varsity again.
He tried again, collapsed again, fell unconscious. #SaferSidelines
