The chinese can eat bat soups and force you to wear a mask while being secluded at your home for a year but you can't call Mao a dictator because they will get mad
Critical support of Mbappe
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Mao Zedong is under any single social metric a dictator. Not a single popular election, single government party and lifetime leadership. Not even taking into account the millions of deaths under his reign.

Messi fans are genuinely cancer to this club. Every time Barça has a run of 2-3 bad games, you'll see the TL flooded with Lamine - Messi comparisons & Lamine hate tweets like clockwork. They are so insecure & salty. We need to get rid of them vultures, they DON'T BELONG TO BARÇA.

braindead Messi stans got tired of waiting for us to become United to run their silly narratives so they decided Barça and Lamine should be defined by this october clasico that leaves us top of the table and comes after 3 La Liga titles in 4 seasons and 6 wins in 7 clasicos lol
Genuinely hate this take
Reeves leveled up the atmosphere and vision of what comic book cinema can be
There is no Clayface without Reeves. No Penguin. No Caped Crusader. It brought audiences into DC that would have never watched a comic book movie before
Reeves all the way

Matt Reeves is making a sequel to The Batman with finishing touches from Steven Soderbergh, meanwhile DCU fans are yearning for a Batman film from the makers of The Flash.
"the batman part 1 was the worst thing to happen to the cbm community" because it made most people realize that these movies can actually be good and that they should have higher standards, lol
DCU turning its biggest haters into fans
Clayface is a BIG surprise.
I went in basically blind with two buddies I regularly hit Comic-Con with.
None of us watched the trailers.
That absolutely helped.
This movie is wild.
Gruesome.
Disturbing.
At times downright disgusting.
And I mean that in the best way possible.
Tom Rhys Harries is fantastic as Matt Hagen.
The special effects are excellent.
The runtime is under two hours.
And the movie moves.
There’s always something happening.
The biggest surprise?
Clayface barely feels like a James Gunn DCU movie.
It feels much closer to The Batman, The Penguin, Joker and even Gotham.
Matt Reeves’ influence is all over it.
No forced comedy.
No goofy treatment of the character.
No divisive messaging taking over the story.
And most importantly:
Clayface is actually a VILLAIN.
Not an anti-hero.
Not a misunderstood good guy.
The movie lets Matt Hagen become a full-blown psychopath and serial killer.
That’s where Sony went wrong with movies like Morbius and Venom.
Clayface doesn’t make that mistake.
The body horror is nasty.
I actually had to cover my eyes a few times.
And by the ending, we finally get the giant, monstrous, shape-shifting Clayface fans know from the comics and animation.
It looks great.
I had a couple complaints, but nothing major.
This is exactly the kind of DC movie I want more of.
Dark.
Serious.
Comic-book focused.
And willing to let the villain be the villain.
Go see Clayface.
8/10.
