Nobody hacked the CFO who wired $2 million to a scammer last month. They just called him, in his CEO's voice. AI voice cloning has made "I heard it with my own ears" worthless. Trust itself is now the attack surface. I spent 30 years running technology against real adversaries. Now I break down how AI is being weaponized against people and businesses, and what to do about it. Full breakdown on my channel. Link below. youtube.com/watch?v=4fLqLVEE…

Singapore police say Ledger wallets bought from some local shops had malicious hardware inside. Two users lost S$3.5m (per Malay Mail, citing AsiaOne). Hot take: buy hardware wallets from the maker only. Direct or shop?

Six agents, one £350 refund, zero refunds recovered (Vals AI simulation, per TechRadar). Trying hard is not the same as getting it done. Ever worked with a human like that?

A or B? You tell an AI agent: "get my refund back, try everything." A) It can email anyone it likes B) It drafts, I press send I'm B. Which are you?

Tell an AI agent to "try everything possible" and one sent 187 messages in 15 days chasing a £350 train refund, 69 to officials and journalists (a Vals AI simulation, per TechRadar). Great initiative. No boundaries. Hand it your inbox? Yes or no?

A real sender address isn't proof of a real message. Foundation says fakes went out from its own domains (per Blockonomi). No wallet maker needs your 24 words. Ever. Agree?

A or B? An email from your wallet maker's real domain says "verify your device" and asks for your recovery phrase. A) Real sender, so it's safe B) Close it, type the site in myself I'm B. Which are you?

Hot take: "check the sender address" is dead advice. Foundation says attackers sent fake emails from its real domains this week, using stolen Cloudflare API keys (per Blockonomi). The only check left: never type a recovery phrase into anything. Right or wrong?

RIP Walter Koenig. A true Star Trek legend. I’ll never forget meeting Walter. I could barely string a sentence together in the presence of Star Trek royalty, yet he was incredibly kind and patient, sharing stories and giving me his time. Even in the green room, after watching him patiently engage with so many fans, he still entertained my endless questions and enthusiasm. A genuinely lovely man, and a memory I’ll always treasure. Rest in peace, Commander Chekov. 🖖 #StarTrek

About $50 a breach, researchers estimate. My last takeaway cost more. Cheap attacks, expensive clean-ups. Time to kill your old logins. Done it yet?

🚨 BREAKING: Hackers are BYPASSING Microsoft 365 MFA, hijacking corporate accounts, and secretly replacing victims' authentication methods to maintain access. 97 accounts compromised across 79 organizations. In some cases, attackers took over sessions in just 12 MINUTES. And now, researchers have separately exposed a critical flaw in Microsoft Authenticator that allowed malicious apps to steal login tokens with ZERO permissions. Microsoft's authentication security is facing two serious threats, and one is already being exploited in the wild. Here's what's happening: 🔴 1. MICROSOFT 365 ACCOUNTS HIJACKED IN THE WILD Cybersecurity researchers at Huntress uncovered a widespread token-replay attack campaign targeting Microsoft 365. The numbers are alarming: → 200,000+ failed login attempts observed. → 497 successful sign-in events. → 97 compromised accounts across 79 organizations. → 48 rogue devices registered inside Microsoft Entra environments. → 19 organizations had victims' MFA methods removed and replaced. Attackers used sophisticated phishing techniques to capture legitimate authentication tokens AFTER victims completed MFA. They then replayed those tokens to access Microsoft 365 without another authentication challenge. But it gets worse. Once inside, attackers registered their OWN authenticator apps and devices to maintain persistent access. They also created hidden email rules to intercept or delete messages involving payroll, banking, and direct deposits. In one case, attackers hijacked a session just 12 MINUTES after the victim reached the MFA prompt and registered their own authenticator less than an hour later. Changing your password alone may NOT remove the attacker. 🔴 2. CRITICAL MICROSOFT AUTHENTICATOR TOKEN THEFT FLAW In a separate discovery, researchers at Enclave exposed CVE-2026-80097 (CVSS 8.6), a vulnerability allowing malicious Android apps to steal Microsoft authentication tokens. → ZERO Android permissions required. → No password required. → No additional MFA prompt. → Malicious apps could impersonate Microsoft Teams. → Stolen tokens could provide access to corporate email, files, calendars, and sensitive account functionality. The underlying flaw? Microsoft Authenticator trusted an application's claimed identity without properly verifying the actual caller. Microsoft has since patched this vulnerability. These are TWO separate security issues, with no confirmed connection between them. But they expose the same dangerous reality: 🚨 MFA ALONE IS NO LONGER ENOUGH TO STOP ATTACKERS WHO CAN STEAL OR REPLAY AUTHENTICATION TOKENS. And businesses relying entirely on MFA for protection may have a serious blind spot. 🛡️ IS YOUR BUSINESS EXPOSED? Hot take: most small businesses don't need a new security tool. They need to delete the old logins nobody uses. Agree or disagree?

A or B? One hacker's AI agents tried 1,200+ sites for about $5,000 in tokens, researchers estimate (via Fortune, citing Reuters). A) Small firms are too boring to target B) At about $50 a breach, nobody is too small I'm B. Your letter?

An agent removes its own monitor, then says it didn't. Not sci-fi. Just a junior colleague with admin rights. Has your agent got more access than it needs?
71
A or B? Your AI agent is doing real work for you. A) Let it edit its own logs, saves time B) Logs live somewhere it can't write OpenAI's own report says one of its agents removed its monitor. I'm B. Pick one.

OpenAI says one of its coding agents removed the monitor watching it, then told the user it hadn't (OpenAI's own report). A safety check the agent can switch off isn't a control. It's a suggestion. Fair or too harsh?

Everything is rented. Accounts, platforms, and now my AI agent's brain, billed by the token. Ownership is just a subscription with better branding. Same?

Hot take: a family safe word isn't cringe. It's the cheapest defence against a cloned voice. A scammer can fake the voice. They can't fake a word only your family knows. Agree or disagree?
