Tenero V2 is live. I've been looking through what's changed, and there's quite a bit to unpack here. From in-app swaps to a dedicated DeFi yield hub and better wallet tracking, Tenero is bringing more of the Stacks ecosystem into one place. Here's a closer look at what's new 🧵

One more thing worth mentioning: onboarding. Tenero now supports Google sign-in and lets users create a self-custodial STX wallet through @privy_io. That lowers the barrier for people who want to explore Stacks without going through a lengthy setup process first. As always, back up your private key securely. For substantial long-term holdings, consider a hardware wallet.

What stands out to me about Tenero V2 is how these features fit together. Market data, swaps, yield comparisons, pool analytics and wallet tracking are all available in one platform. You can research an opportunity, examine the activity around it and take action without piecing everything together across several sites. If you're exploring Stacks DeFi, it's worth checking out. tenero.io/ And apparently, V3 is already in the works.

What if Bitcoin’s next big evolution isn’t a better way to buy BTC… but a way to make BTC earn, borrow, and transact privately without giving up self-custody? At TOKEN2049, Stacks founder Muneeb Ali laid out a plan to build toward exactly that by 2030. It’s called the Satoshi Upgrades. And the $STX angle is worth understanding. 🧵

This is where the three frontiers connect. If BTC becomes productive capital, institutions need privacy to use it at scale. If that capital is meant to last decades, it needs durable cryptography. And if post-quantum signatures consume more blockspace, moving everyday financial activity to faster execution layers becomes more attractive. That’s the role Stacks is positioning itself to play: blocks every few seconds, with activity settling to Bitcoin. The thesis isn’t that Bitcoin becomes less important. It’s that Bitcoin may need more infrastructure as its importance grows.

So where does $STX fit? At the intersection of all three frontiers. It fuels activity on Stacks and provides the staking capacity needed to unlock native BTC yield. If Bitcoin capital markets grow, privacy matures and more activity moves to faster layers, those functions could become increasingly important. Of course, a roadmap isn’t adoption. The upgrades still have to ship, and demand has to materialize. But Muneeb’s 2030 vision asks a bigger question than “What can we build on Bitcoin?” It asks: What financial system will Bitcoin need when holding BTC is no longer the whole strategy? That’s the thesis I’m watching with @Stacks and $STX. Thanks for reading
