ONE CHILD NATION: When policy bleeds into family history. Studious and passionate, committed to unveiling both the systems that allowed the policy to work and the complicity of those who profited. Most interesting is its examination of propaganda as integral to family life. A- – at Manhattan, NY

Just saw the documentary 'One Child Nation' about the years in which China had a policy where each family was only allowed to have one child. What an illuminating, heartbreaking film. There's so much about how that policy was implemented that will leave you completely devastated.

Just saw the documentary: "One Child Nation" which was about China's family policy from 1979 - 2015. I definitely suggest everyone watch. It's an important part of history that shows what happens when a nation tries to have a child limit and the unforseen consequences.
