Our government mandated anti-human trafficking plans for every Ontario school. The first of its kind in 🇨🇦.

OneChild's founder, @cherylperera was honoured to help @Sflecce @JaneMcKennaON , & Chief of #yorkregionalpolice Jim MacSween announce on Tues, all ON certified educators must now complete a comprehensive mandatory sexual abuse prevention program by September 2022. First in CDA.
Parents deserve to know if their child’s educator has been charged — not just convicted — of a serious crime.

What an incredible story by Cheryl @OneChildNetwork who founded her nonprofit while she was in high school! Did you know she took 3 months out of high school to research sexual exploitation of children overseas? #livetweet #HumanTrafficking #modernslavery
