We already discussed this once, but once again, some of the things you mention are either incomplete or inaccurate, so I would like to clarify them, hopefully for the last time
xitter.cf/OneForOneV/status/2083…
1. "Always happens" = Lexa and You. I have benched a total of two players.
Your initial statement created a misleading narrative that led some people to believe I was the main reason behind those benchings. Even if I had been, benching a player for the benefit of the team or to maximize our chances of winning is a normal and common decision in any competitive environment
2. The way you word it makes it sound like I was forcing you to play "20 games a day" like some kind of abusive coach, when in reality we discussed which champions you needed to practice and agreed on a training plan
As shown in the screenshots, it was closer to 10–20 games over a 10-day period on average. This was a training plan that you failed to complete on some occasions (around 50% of the time). Moreover, it wasn't that you couldn't play the games, you were playing anyway, but instead of following what we had agreed on, you simply chose to play something else
The example you used: yes, you played Maokai for the team, but because you decided that it didn't fit us and stopped to practice the champion, we dropped it from our draft.
The same applied to other champions that we didn't end up using in official matches, because I believed that if we weren't comfortable enough on them or hadn't practiced them sufficiently, then we shouldn't be playing them
So, this narrative is also misleading
The idea of me "forcing" you could only refer to the request to play five games per day at the end of the year, which was introduced as a last resort to avoid having to replace you. Even then, I did not push it that hard. Whenever you failed to meet that target, I rarely said anything, and there were no consequences
3. "He didn't care what we think." That's simply not true. We had a discussion about Sahri and Ysei, I took your opinion into account. However, after considering several criteria (such as Sahri playing in a Prime league team at the same time), I ultimately chose Ysei. And if you remember, that decision itself wasn't an issue for you, as long as I could coach Ysei and help her learn in one month what, according to you, Lori had learned in five. So presenting it as I completely ignored your opinion is not accurate
4. You are not placing above Solary in the latest tournaments just because you do things differently to improve but also because our project is built around fun and individual practice. We were not practicing as a team, and we were not scrimming. So every time you lost or struggled against us was your team struggling against a team without any practice
5. Isn't it fair that everyone gets to express their point of view once you decide to publicly call me out?
I still have a lot of room to improve. However, the picture you paint of me is again, in my opinion, quite far from reality
Lastly, you are free to believe with your friend Unkraunt that i am a bad coach. However, it's worth remembering that the highest point of your career so far was not with Blue Otter, but with Zerance
With 4 Rookies unknown on the scene, we became a team capable of competing and nearly beating anyone while having great hopes for the Game Changers. Then, after bringing in another rookie support, Ysei, we adapted within a month.
Who else has managed to do that on this scene?
No One.
Analyse des drafts du BO
Les joueurs sont critiqués à juste titre, il y a eu des ratés
- Dans la prise de décision
- Dans le jeu d'équipe
- Dans la compréhension du Gameplan
=> Oui
