They grabbed a farm employee, threatened him with a firearm, and tied him up. Then they sat and waited for three full hours for the farmer to come home. When the farm owner arrived with two workers, the cowards jumped them at gunpoint and demanded the safe. When he said he didn’t have one, they beat him with a pick and a sjambok. When that wasn’t enough, they took a side cutter, and started cutting his fingers one by one, trying to force him to hand over the key. They eventually got into the safe. Five rifles. One pistol. Ammunition. Cash. Bank card. Four cellphones. Then they tied everyone up, fired a shot, and drove off in the farmer’s own white Toyota Hilux Double Cab. A man was tortured with farming tools and a side cutter on his own land while dressed-up criminals played policeman. This is the reality for farmers in South Africa in 2026. Not “crime.” Targeted, sadistic violence. Manhunt ongoing. No arrests yet. How many more fingers have to be cut off before this country admits what is happening?
