Do the Turks really want to lecture China about “250 years of humiliation”?
That’s just asking to be humiliated.
China has thousands of years of dynastic history before the Qing and rebuilt itself into a major power after invasion, occupation and national disintegration.
Türkiye’s modern story begins with an empire collapsing around it.
The Balkans were lost.
The Arab provinces were lost.
Istanbul was occupied.
The Ottoman Empire was carved up by foreign powers.
The Treaty of Sèvres reduced what remained to a geopolitical carcass.
Your “great empire” disappeared from the map.
And after all that, you ended up retreating into Anatolia and rebuilding a republic from the ruins of an empire that had lost almost everything outside its core.
So spare China the lecture on humiliation.
A queue hairstyle did not erase Chinese civilization.
Your empire erased itself.
China survived the Qing.
The Ottoman Empire did not survive itself.

Does your culture war involve sending flowers to some dead Nazis? Is that what you want to defend? “Oh yeah Hitler is great let’s build a shrine for him so we can have our leaders honor his spirit annually”

Yeah, twitter is not a place for people with thin skin, not even the terrorism apologist.

Ironically, the very first written records of the Turks come from Chinese historical accounts of the 6th century (such as in the Book of Zhou, Zhoushu 50), which identified them as descendants of the Xiongnu.

"Well functioning"
Replying to @NuryVittachi
But Nury, I thought this was obvious : riots in France are odious because they threaten to bring down a well-functioning democracy, whereas riots in Hong Kong were virtuous because they were an expression of democratic principles in an odious dictatorship.
I hope this helps.

In response to Japanese Defense Minister Shinjiro Koizumi’s remarks on China’s nuclear arsenal, Beijing’s retort left him virtually no dignity to salvage:
Japanese politicians need remedial lessons in history and international law.
In plain English:
China’s nuclear status is part of the post-war international order.
Japan’s non-nuclear status is also part of the post-war international order.
You do not get to erase the distinction between a victorious power and a defeated aggressor simply because that distinction now makes you uncomfortable.
You are Japan’s defense minister, yet you apparently lack the basic historical and legal knowledge required to discuss your own country’s post-war status.
Go study first.
Imagine being Japan’s defense minister and needing China’s Foreign Ministry to explain why a defeated fascist state does not possess the same post-war rights as the victorious power that defeated it.
