Call your member of congress to stop the SAVE Act. Only citizens can vote, don’t make them pay a poll tax or make harder for you to vote. Women, students, military families, and low income Americans will be most impacted by this voter suppression bill.

For the 10th year, @OpenDemocracyNH has conducted this walk in memory of Doris Granny D. Haddock's walk across the country to demand she be heard on the corrosive effects of money in politics. Her efforts paid off until SCOTUS wiped it all away in 2010. We continue. #nhpolitics

SB287 could cost military voters, seniors, veterans, disabled voters, and other Granite Staters their right to vote. Governor Ayotte, @KellyAyotte, must veto this bill and protect the right to vote for all Granite Staters! #NHPolitics #StopSB287

New Hampshire’s own documentary proof of citizenship law, HB 1569, took effect just after the 2024 General Election. Since then, over 100 voters have been disenfranchised. Imagine the scale of harm if this law is still on the books during the next election.
We’ve been covering the SAVE Act, and while it will (probably) not pass, state lawmakers can still introduce similar bills at the local level. Here’s the current status as of 6/30/2025. Our friends at the Voting Rights Lab have been covering these bills: tracker.votingrightslab.org

“The House has just passed one of the worst pieces of voting legislation in American history. The Senate must stop it. The SAVE Act would put voting out of reach for millions of American citizens.” — @mawaldman brennancenter.org/our-work/a…

Election workers are the gears that keep our democracy ticking. These men and women make our elections possible - many of whom are volunteers with a profound sense of civic duty. We need to protect their safety just like they protect our elections. cnn.it/4dyspay
