31 years ago today, Organized Konfusion released Stress: The Extinction Agenda, on Hollywood BASIC.
during a year that saw the arrival of debut albums by Nasir and Biggie, it says something that the lyrical performances of the year could arguably be found on The Extinction Agenda.
one of the talents that they had as a group was its ability to shift topics and approaches, sounding just as ill rhyming about childhood reminiscing as they did rhyming about splitting the electrons off of an atom. It’s this talent that made them one of the greatest and most underappreciated groups of their era. one of the best albums of the 90’s, and light-years ahead of its time.
