I have completed the synthesis and automatic P&R of TD4, an educational 4-bit CPU, with Claude and TR-1um. I also designed a custom 8×16 register file, reduced the stdcell height, and created a simplified .lib file to enable STA.

I shared my Open-Source Silicon activity in Japan with the San Diego delegation team at the RISE GATE conference hall. It was a great opportunity to share an update on the last three years.

I have uploaded a new Qiita article, “Implementing an Asynchronous I2C Circuit with Claude (SPICE Version).” This time, as a follow-up to the previous design work, I ran final timing and chip-level verification in SPICE (ngspice) .

I have just uploaded my first TR-1um chip design to the OpenSUSI-MPW aggregation repository and updated the README in my source repository. This is my first actual chip design for the TR-1um Open-Source PDK!

I posted an article about a chip-level timing verification process with Claude. Since TR-1um STDCELL has no timing information, I used IRSIM to verify timing. Claude found two serious bugs, fixed them with NET, and then re-ran AP&R.

I posted an article about completing a new chip design with Claude. The goal was to perform AP&R using only Klayout and Xschem, and I did. The key is that the open-source Klayout API and text-based Xschem sch/sym files both work well in Claude's sandbox.
