Ain’t no way this plays out again. Right?
Right??!
“I don’t gamble on FOMC days.”
If that means being flat on announcement days, a long term book is skipping eight sessions a year that have accounted for a disproportionate share of realized equity returns since the mid 90s.
That is not the same as avoiding noise. It's more like avoiding the data
$SPY $SPX
$SPX from the bottom.
Calls up 100% and we have time to cover FOMC for free. 🎉
It's good to be back
Scaling out of
$DELL 20NOV 550C at first target: 500
I see what’s happening and here’s how to not get fucked.
Pay attention especially if you're newer to trading (2023)
24 hour trading and expanded perpetuals are creating earlier, sharper moves that pull in FOMO.
A lot of newer traders buy straight into supply. The market dumps, undercuts the level, and continues the original direction without them.
Don’t chase the overnight spike. Wait for the real move on your terms.
The market is here to serve you not the other way around. It comes to your price or you tell it to fuck off, no deal

( do you think I tweeted about this one enough? 🤣 )
$RBRK
Quietly moving our ports to new highs.
Even in a tough tape we're able to identify stocks that will move the needle without owning two of everything.
I wholeheartedly think people are getting crushed this year because they’re buying supply not demand where it’s "scary"
$QCOM
there goes my trade of the day 😭
$SMH is the heavy subsector.
$SKHY can work too yes.
All highly correlated trades at this moment in time
Replying to @OptionsMir
which subsector is the heavy one tied to KOSPI here, semis? curious if you watch SK Hynix or Samsung as the tell for the S&P move
$DRAM local bottom given before the move.
50-55 next pivot zone.
tactically speaking what you have to ask yourself here is, "do you feel comfortable initiating a long close to a primary target?"
if so then what size?
$MSTR UPDATE:
If you missed the initial entry at 135 you have another chance here.
The two targets projected from the last run- 150, 154, were the exact highs before the pullback to original entry zone.
I think it’s time to run it back as price consolidates this wide range.
$MSTR Setup
Initial longs were initiated at the 135 level on a potential inverse head and shoulders formation with support aligning to an upward sloping 200sma.
Price has since developed a falling wedge at 145 and now appears to be breaking above the trend line resistance.
The 23OCT 148 calls, if filled for $1 or less presents favorable risk reward with potential to double the premium.
Primary target is 150.
Risk free runners can be managed toward 154 (assume hero or zero for runners).
Gotta love Mondays
We're opening the week with $SPX call swings up big. AGAIN.
There seems to be a pattern here 🤔
