Sancho Pistola’s, the Mexican bar & restaurant at 19 W. Girard Ave. in Fishtown, has permanently closed after 12 years in business. The closure comes less than two months after its sister bar, Jose Pistola’s, shut down in Center City. The owners previously cited ongoing financial struggles since the pandemic and the loss of chef & business partner Adán Trinidad in 2021 as challenges for their restaurants. Two Rittenhouse Hotel favorites are saying goodbye as the luxury property undergoes a major makeover. The Library Bar will serve its last customers on 10/31, followed by the Mary Cassatt Tea Room on 11/15.
