love seeing more streamers and CT voices covering @base lately. most of them notice the energy right away.
on today's stream @Loopierr said every builder they and @itsthatgigi talked to was super positive. @jessepollak said that's what defines base culture: relentlessness and optimism about the future.
you see that energy in protocols built over years and memes that refuse to die. hard to bet against that.

One month ago I posted "@base is going to be giving more love to the trenches" and received a mix of cautious optimism, hate, and skepticism.
Within one month, we've delivered:
1) Base Meme Summit: Brought together the OG meme communities and newer meme communities under a single community hosted event. For the first time in a long time, everyone came together like a real community and the energy was electric. nitter.gq/base/status/2113293435…
2) GMGN Global Championship (Base Track): We supported Base traders on trading terminals like GMGN by sponsoring the Base Track, which included a Green Pass for the winner straight to the London Finals. We got Jesse to be a guest speaker on the GGC stream, showing support for traders and trenchers. nitter.gq/gmgnai/status/21147095…
3) Trencher Grants: We launched a grants program to support the unsung heroes in the trenches. This came from all the feedback you've been providing us in DMs and in feedback calls. nitter.gq/base/status/2114709790…

so i tried to play around with mine, from a lame screen upgraded to a full CT dashboard with:
- showing time & date with better format
- added weather report
- top coins prices
- showing 15 top viral tweets for that day
- shortcut icons/buttons for main apps
all done with opus 5.5 in less than 10minutes

Same thing with crypto. It is normalizing. This is a great thing!
There's lots of discussion about a16z dropping the word 'crypto'.
It's actually a sign of crypto winning. It's outgrown being a standalone sector and now runs through global finance and frontier tech: payments, trading, tokenization, AiFi, and much more.
We've spent more than a decade building this industry to make it useful everywhere, and we should welcome it escaping its own category. People used to say 'internet companies' - which is a prehistoric phrase now. Eventually, calling something a 'crypto company' should feel just as redundant.
Many of us (including me) will keep the word. But the millions, and soon billions, using it every day won't care what we call it.
They'll care what it lets them do.

even the FUD is working in their favor. most people scrolling through the timeline won’t catch the criticism. they just see shiny Rolexes, ridiculous price tags, and pumpfun everywhere
