AP’s style is now to capitalize Black in a racial, ethnic or cultural sense, conveying an essential and shared sense of history, identity and community among people who identify as Black, including those in the African diaspora and within Africa.
Heartbreaking. Such a compassionate, principled leader who championed affordable health care for everyone. Sad, sad news.
It is with profound sadness that we announce that @BernardJTyson, Chairman and CEO of Kaiser Permanente, unexpectedly passed away early Sunday in his sleep. k-p.li/33BrUI6

SO proud of Jazz Miles, Senate Page & 8th grader at Binford MS! In mock Senate session this evening, he proposed a bill to train teachers on how to support students who struggle with mental health challenges. It passed 34-1! Jazz, we can’t wait until you’re on the ballot!

If you love a writer, do not ask her if you can "pick her brain."
That's called a consultation. You may ask if she provides consultation services and what her fee is. Decide if that consultation is in your budget.
Move forward to the Paypal link or leave her alone.

OZ PART #2 - I view kindness as a weapon. Not the kindness that is paternal or condescending or platitudinous. I mean the kindness that comes from true empathy; that gently acknowledges another’s travails and so makes her/him feel less alone. For me, there’s no stronger weapon.
