Lately, lots of kids in my sphere have been asking me for style advice, where I buy my cloths and game gear... some of them have even been talking like me.
I'm a trend setter for nerdy pre-teens.
I don't know what I SHOULD think, but I think it's hilarious.
Searched Amazon for "gluten free snacks" because I work in a children's program and need snacks for ALL the kids...
One of the search results was an Annie's variety box of cheese crackers?? And graham crackers?? None of them gluten free???
Don't kill kids, Amazon. Cheeses.

Rent should be lowered the longer you live somewhere not up.
I should be rewarded for my years of paying you on time every month

Sometimes, there are instances in TTRPGs where the moment is greater than anyone could have expected.
In those moments, fuck the dice. Fuck the mechanics. Fuck the rules.
Tell the story that is demanding to be told.
Your game will ultimately be better for it.
I tutor a kid in knitting. I'd say about 10% of the goal is to impart knitting skills, and 90% is all the other brain benefits of knitting.
Yesterday, this kid somehow ended up with 29 stitches in a row instead of 20 and asked for help. I asked her...
You go in for knitting skills, you come out with radical self acceptance support.
Besides, if you're asking me... I don't think the dedication it takes to master ANY skill is worth it if you can't accept yourself in the process.
Sometimes a more distant relative tells me "I like you," and I'm struck by how very rarely I heard "I like you" from closer family members when I was younger.
Tell your kids you like them, kids. Not just "I love you," but also "I like you." It's important.

Can y'all not just... put that face with too much eyeliner back on my timeline?
Thanks.
One of the kids told me I looked like gender-bent Beetle Juice and then the rest of them agreed!!
I love my job :)
