Good morning. The sky is clear. My dog is a good boy.
Trump is old and ill. He's globally reviled. He's universally distrusted. He's also heavily medicated - you can tell by his increased gaffes, uneven energy, and super-short fuse that he's a physical, pathological, and neurological mess.
He's so desperate to convey grandiosity and avoid humiliation. Everything he speaks to, is about that.
The lies are more obvious and exposed now; the hyperbole is more fantastical and tiresome now. His incredibly corrupt self-centeredness now defines him.
He is miserable, so he inflicts misery. He is damaged, so he is a damager of all things, who can't leave anything unsullied.
He's a parasite, a pariah, and a putz who is trapped by his own aberrance, incompetence, and diminishment.
These are eventful days. And while you're living and doing and thinking and feeling, try envisioning his demise, too. Because one way or another, it's coming.

There is something deeply wrong with a political system that allows one trillionaire to buy his own personal U.S. Senator.
Trump has been gaffing, slurring, and rambling for his entire speech. Whatever he used to take for focus, presumed to be Adderall - no longer works as well. Also, the neuron firings in his brain and his speech center appear to now be ill-timed with one another. As such, he cannot complete a sentence, and oftentimes, can barely complete a thought. You can hear confusion when he's in the large crowd dynamic, but he's still soaking in narcissistic energy. But up close and personal - when there's no narcissistic energy - he's pure malice now.

** JUST IN ** A New Mexico judge has ordered Meta to pay $25B today (yes, you heard that number correctly) for deceiving users about its data privacy practices (translation - the f*ckers used the data and lied).
New Mexico had sued Meta in 2021 over the whole Cambridge Analytica scandal, saying the social media company had misled users with its public statements about its data privacy (translation: nothing that they said was private, actually was). After a two-week trial, a jury ruled against Meta, saying the company committed 43M violations of consumer protection laws.
Today, Judge Francis J. Mathew of the State District Court in Santa Fe issued the landmark penalty.
Trump has been so fixated on his health and his cognition lately, that it's hard to believe he didn't recently get bad news or a warning.

He is going to be humiliated. And while he'll never admit to humiliation, he WILL know it and feel it.
Good morning. The news cycle now can get overwhelming. When you're feeling anxiety, outrage, uncertainty, and unease - remember three things:
1. Trump 2.0 wants you to feel that. It's part of the Authoritarian Playbook. They think if you feel it enough, it can morph into apathy or futility. Don't let it!
2. Don't get addicted to your anxiety and outrage. You're a good person. The vast majority of people are, too - really. His anxiety is worse than yours - his numbers have gone from the toilet to the sewer. You can feel his misery - it's ok to revel in that if it helps.
3. Take care of yourself. Life is short. Walk in nature, breathe the air, listen to music, watch sports or comedy, talk to friends, pet your dog or cat or spouse.
A certain amount of anxiety and impatience is unavoidable as human nature. Do NOT let it overcome focus and perspective. I am inspired by what I see - as an American and as a behaviorist. Dems are unified, and there is clarity in the unity. Everybody is primed. We're ready to go.
Buckle up. Stay together. Focus and perspective. Noise is called noise because ... it's just noise.

I'd love to see a Dem-leaning billionaire make a loud and public offer to pay Trump $20M for every new rally he adds to his schedule in a place where a race is contested, between now and Election Day. Every media outlet would cover it, and Trump's reaction would be fascinating.
