Best halloween costume I've seen so far has been Marnus Labuschagne dressed as an Australian cricketer batting at no 3 tonight. #SAvAUS
Great fight back from South Africa to win an absorbing series. Test cricket at its best and SA are a top team. #SAvAUS

Just wish it was a 5 match series..
Yeah I know the financials wouldn’t work for SA, but genuinely feel slightly robbed to not get to watch more..#SAvAUS
Brendon McCullum's record as white ball coach is clearly split by format. In T20Is, they had 24 wins and just 7 losses. In ODIs, England have won 10 matches and lost 16.
The Men's ODI World Cup is England's next major competition, just before McCullum's contract expires in 2027.

To be fair on the pile on, @StocksC_cricket doesn't make stuff up. I've had my moments but he's a solid.

Lancashire desperately need to rebuild - but who better to be a part of that? To play/coach and inspire the next gen.
50 wkts @ 17 apiece amid the rubble of an abysmal 2026 and he's not a key man for 2027?
They've lost the plot at
Old Trafford.

50 wickets at an average of 17 last year. Something is seriously wrong with Lancashire CCC.
Jimmy Anderson is set to retire after Lancashire declined to offer him a new contract for 2027

Could watch this on repeat over and over again..
Dean Headley on his day was such a fantastic bowler..

Genuinely think I have as much chance of becoming a ballerina asLeicestershire have winning their appeal..
Such a shame that the Kingsmead crowd is so poor. I get that Durban isn’t the best of grounds and often weather disrupted, but still #SAvAUS..

Bold words from the chair of an organisation which actively approved the registration of Scott Kuggeleijn just a month ago, in defiance of its own regulations regarding players who adversely affect "the best interests, image or reputation" of county cricket.

"The ECB has an overriding discretion to refuse to grant a registration in respect of any given Cricketer where [...] the grant of such registration adversely affects (or is likely to adversely affect) the best interests, image or reputation of Competitive County Cricket, the ECB or cricket generally, including but not limited to where the Cricketer in question is the subject of any allegations, investigations or charges by the ECB, ICC, another ICC Member Country, police or other law enforcement body relating to any doping, corruption or criminal offence or any other serious misconduct."](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/HUCq4jZX0AAY5AJ.png?name=orig)

Richard Thompson has said that ECB will think "very carefully" before granting English players NOCs for the planned Afghanistan Premier League after backlash - with doubts emerging as to whether it will even happen

Yeah that’s not surprising. Not the first time Carse has been in front of the regulator either.
Obviously the CDP makes the final decision on things, but that’s an awful look for an English international cricketer.
The problem is that it will never change. Very few state schools have the ability to host a decent pitch, let alone pay for equipment which is getting more expensive every year.
The private schools know their pitch to any family who has a talented child cricketer.
Not news. And yet… here we go again. #cricket #differentclass #elitism

And of course many of the parents have come from a semi privileged background, so if they can afford it, then they will.
There was very little chance of making it as a cricketer when I was a teen in the 90’s. Virtually zero chance these days..
