Dave Challinor is the firm-favourite to take the job. But who is he? What's his playing style? If he does get the job, what can we expect? We spoke to Steve from the @CountyPodcast last night and put those questions to him. 🔗 youtube.com/live/M7GrnHempoM

Just want to stress that these are the bookies odds, and we all know how they work. The reason Matt Hamshaw's odds are short is they would pay out if he's in charge for ten games or more. I believe they did that with Neil Thompson before Darren Moore became manager.

Give me your most believable yet unbelievable candidate for the job. The one where you think - "I can see it, but they would never come."

Would anyone take Carrick as next manager? I feel he could be out of a job in the next hour or so.

🥾 He Has To Go | The Debrief. 😬 After last week I was hoping that we might have turned a corner... but the last two performances have been arguably worse. ⏰ Join us tonight from 8pm and listen what we have to say on the matter. ⚠️ Warning: A distinct lack of positivity. 🔗 youtube.com/live/2vF1pXqImUg

Henrik has gone. I’ll be honest I didn’t think it would happen. But fair play. Thanks for your efforts but I think the right decision has been made.
Sheffield Wednesday Football Club confirms that Henrik Pedersen has left the club with immediate effect. Henrik led the first team through an exceptional period in the club's history, providing stability and leadership during a time of significant uncertainty and change. The club would like to place on record its sincere thanks to Henrik for his contribution and wishes him every success in the future. Sporting Director Simon Wilson said: “First and foremost, I want to thank Henrik for his professionalism, commitment and contribution during an exceptionally challenging period for Sheffield Wednesday. “We knew the start of this season would be difficult due to the scale of change across the club, but our expectation was always that we would develop as the season progressed, establishing a recognisable style of play and greater consistency in our performances. “Although we have accumulated points, we haven’t seen enough progress in those areas. We believe making a change now gives us the best opportunity to establish those foundations and build towards the second half of the season and beyond. “We remain ambitious about what we can achieve this campaign, and our focus remains on building a Sheffield Wednesday team with a clear identity, capable of delivering sustained improvement and long-term success.” Matt Hamshaw will take interim charge of the first team while the club undertakes the process of appointing its next Head Coach. The club will provide further updates when appropriate.
