Our Solar for Schools bill signing ceremony was yesterday.
Over a year ago, we introduced the bill standing behind a solar panel. None of us knew if we’d be back again to celebrate. But thanks to the hard work of countless partners & @GovernorShapiro’s signature, we did it. 🌞

@DCNRnews recently unveiled newly installed solar arrays which will produce enough renewable energy to power the peninsula at the park.
By installing this solar array, Presque Isle is the 1st state park to adopt a site-specific climate change plan.
Newly installed solar canopy arrays over the Beach 8 parking lot @PresqueIsleSP will save the department and taxpayers more than $30,000 annually by producing enough energy to power the peninsula at the park. Learn more ➡️ bit.ly/3V9Oyn6. #Sustainability #PaStateParks
