Congratulations to the 2026 Punxsutawney Sports Hall of Fame Inductees! They will be honored at the upcoming Induction Ceremony held on Saturday, November 21, at 6PM in the PAHS Cafeteria. Tickets are available now for $30 a piece. For more info, visit: punxsy.k12.pa.us/apps/news/a…

Punxsy XC D9 AA Update:
Lady Chucks finished 3rd & Emalyn Conrad won the D9 Individual Championship! The Chucks were Runners-Up for the 2nd year in a row! Miles Conrad placed 3rd, followed by Grady Snyder in 4th. Emalyn, Miles, & Grady qualify for the PIAA State Championships!
OCTOBER 2026 ROTARY BOY OF THE MONTH
Congratulations to PAHS Senior Colton Bugay who was recently honored as the October 2026 Rotary Boy of the Month! PUNXSY PROUD!
Spectators attending tonight's BLACKOUT NIGHT game between The Chucks and Ridgway are reminded of PIAA's Spectator Decorum Regulations regarding masks and face paint. Fans and spectators are not permitted to wear masks or full face paint to the game tonight.
CHUCKS FOOTBALL BLACKOUT NIGHT
The Chucks take on Ridgway TONIGHT (Thursday, October 29) at home in the annual BLACKOUT NIGHT game! Kickoff is scheduled for 7PM. ROLL CHUCKS! Spectators are also reminded that PIAA rules prohibit masks and full face paint at these events.
PAHS held a special school-wide send-off for the Girl’s Tennis Team this morning as they set out for the State Tournament! PUNXSY PROUD!

PASD FLEX DAY EARLY DISMISSAL ON 10/23/26
Reminder: There is a Flex Day early dismissal for students on Friday, October 23. High School dismissal at 11:40AM; Elementary School dismissal at 12:40PM.

Giving new meaning to our "ROLL CHUCKS" rally cry, PAHS held a special assembly for grades 9-12 to introduce our newest winter sport--Unified Bocce Ball! During the assembly, the team took center court to be introduced and then proceeded to demonstrate how the game is played.

2026 PAHS POWDER PUFF GAME
The annual Powder Puff football game will be held at Jack LaMarca Stadium on October 21 as the Scooby-Doo Seniors face the Jump Scare Juniors! Tailgate starts at 5PM and kickoff is scheduled for 6PM. Proceeds benefit Make-A-Wish!

THERAPY DOG PROGRAM AT PAES
The therapy dogs will start making monthly visits to PAES during STAR PERIOD starting Oct. 19th. If you wish to opt out your child from participating in these optional visits with the therapy dogs, please contact the PAES office before Oct. 19th.
