Okpebholo Links Attack on Edo Comedian MC Porkupyne to Cûlt Activities Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, has alleged that intelligence gathered by the state government linked the att@ck on Benin-based comedian Osagie Idieda, popularly known as MC Porkupyne, to cult-related activities. The governor made the statement on Tuesday while receiving members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Edo State Council, at the Government House in Benin City. He also dismissed allegations linking his administration to the attack as fake news. Recall that MC Porkupyne was reportedly att@cked by suspected hoodlums in the early hours of October 24 while returning from a birthday celebration in Benin City. The Edo State Police Command has launched an investigation into the incident.
