No worries. Since your certificate was scanned, it's basically an image, so the text isn't directly editable. Try pdfgear.com/pdf-to-word/ Open the original PDF and convert it to Word using Advanced Mode (OCR). It'll recognize the text and turn it into editable content. Hope this saves you some time!

Just tried to cancel an Adobe Acrobat 5 user subscription I was not using anymore.
Can’t believe how hard they make it. This is SCAM level.
First it is not possible to cancel online (what??) although they are of course more than happy to take online subscriptions.
So what you need to do is open a chat window, wait for an agent, explain your problem. Then they tell you the only way to cancel is by phone so you need to share your phone number and they call you.
As one could expect its a very poor quality call center line.
Then of course although I explained upfront in the chat part that I am not using the product anymore and I would therefore appreciate if they could skip the “special offers” part, they did not...
The operator (who was very nice, I do not blame him at all) needs to put you on hold before explaining the ‘steps’ (omg) to cancel . Of course when he comes back it is with a special offer…
After I refuse it, he needs to put me on hold again to "check with his team what they can do for me”.
When he comes back he explains me that if I wait until the end of my subscription a few month from now I can cancel for free (of course... they hope I will forget to do it). But if I want to cancel right away I need to pay a cancellation fee (although my subscription is fully paid for another 4 month).
Finally when I tell him that whatever charge me and cancel right away, without having to “speak with his team” he tells me he will cancel without charging a cancellation fee (so that last part was apparently full bluff).
What a scam ! NEVER AGAIN AM I BUYING AN ADOBE PRODUCT !!
I am so upset that I am going to spend a few bucks to promote this tweet.
