Undergrounding saves lives. That's why l'm filing a formal complaint with the CPUC — our communities don't deserve half-solutions, and we can't wait for the next tragedy to fix this.

This is the incitement that people should be condemning today. It’s not coming from some random part of the internet, it’s coming from the deputy speaker of Israel’s parliament.

This is my dad’s personal account of what he saw with his own eyes when he entered Deir Yaseen the morning after the massacre 76 years ago. Reading my dad’s words caused the images to get seared into my memory. His account now pales when compared to what Israel is doing now.

We need to conserve every drop of water possible for beneficial reuse by reducing demand, by recycling our water, by capturing much more stormwater in our natural aquifers.
I know that the public is watching to make sure we do exactly that.

I gladly supported @LindseyPHorvath & @HollyJMitchell's motion today that'll have @LACoPublicWorks move sediment from dams & reservoirs found mostly in my #FifthDistrict to @CountyofLA coasts for beach restoration. Great example of a green/environmentally friendly "reuse" project.
