The NY state boys wrestling committee has voted to increase from 13 to 14 weight classes for 2026. They will add a weight class in between 170 and 190 as long as the state hierarchy approves the recommendation. The impact - two more state champions (I and II).
Please consider helping

St. John Vianney’s Anthony Knox holds up an emotional “0”, signaling the amount of titles left to achieve the elusive 4… He held up 3 after winning his freshman year then continued counting down. Knox becomes New Jersey’s 5th 4-time Champion ever, joining his soon-to-be Coach Mike Grey at Cornell! 🏆🏆🏆🏆

Do you know how insane it is that a public high school had 10 separate national champion wrestlers at some level in high school / beyond? All of them grew up within walking distance of the wrestling room. Flo wrestling should do a documentary @FloWrestling

Forget for one second all that Long Beach's Dunia Sibomana-Rodriguez has been through. Think about this; Dunia beat a 2-time defending state champion in Cooper Merli - who hadn't allowed a point in three bout sin the state tournament - until the final. WOW nitter.gq/jamiestuartTV/status/1…
