Financially Connecting Africa.
If South Sudan was not struggling enough, "the impacts of "super El Niño" are already starkly visible in South Sudan. Drought has devastated even the nation's most fertile agricultural zones, resulting in widespread crop failures and severely diminished yields" ,as observed by WFP Assistant Executive Director for Programme Operations, Matthew Hollingworth.
This means that populations that could have relied on growing their own crops might not be able to do so shortly, and thus will rely on money- which they struggle to earn already- to survive.
Under such conditions, being able to send money fast and securely is crucial.
This is where Pesabase steps in.
Users don't even know that the money is being sent via blockchain, it arrives in just a few seconds no matter where they are , and the local agents and mini banks reach/ will reach parts of the country nobody else does.
Roughly 90% of South Sudan's 12MM citizens are unbanked. But they all need money.
Pesabase is poised for growth like few companies anywhere.

Little bump on the BTC and top altcoins this week. Yet despite this Pesabase is holding well.
At the end of the day, RWA in the crypto world do not depend on what the crypto industry is doing. If there's demand for the product or service, the token will hold or increase in value.
And few things are in more demand as being able to send money to/ within South Sudan cost effectively.

1. 🚀 PESA has climbed from around 1.6¢ to over 5¢ — a gain of more than 200%.
But the price rally isn't the most interesting part.
With stronger liquidity and Jonglei construction scheduled to restart in November, the next chapter could be even more significant.
Here's why 🧵👇

What a great business. Been successful for almost a decade with just one bank.
With the expansion they are now going through, with multiple new banks, looking for solid and sustainable growth ahead.

After Venezuela’s twin earthquakes, most responders thought cash aid was impossible: sanctions, no infrastructure, little physical cash.
@GiveDirectly found a route anyway, using stablecoins behind the scenes. 3,765 people were paid within 21 days, 86 cents of every dollar reaching them. 🌍

Delays can mean families not eating, taking on debt, or even selling their home to get by

That’s why you need to do something with purpose. Devs will relaunch 10x trying to make money. If you do something that actually matters in the world, all the brutality this market has is worth it. Memes suck , pumpFun sucks.

The African money transfer industry was built with walls.
We build bridges.
No walls, no waiting for permission.
Every pillar we raise and every milestone is accomplished by real people, with real families in mind.
We shared the same problem, and create the solution together.
We build silently until we become impossible to ignore.
