I'm not sure what everybody's doing that they are draining their CODEX account. I'm working on 3 relatively complex applications, all built in Swift with lots of cloud runs for testing against Gemini's API and I've been running for three days and I'm only at 38%. Everything doesnt have to be done at ASTRA ULTRA

Nope, but I once got it to say, "you're right, the code is fucked up."

Left for a conference in Amsterdam with one banked reset remaining in my CODEX account (didn't have to use it because CODEX issued a global reset on the 7th for Labor Day)....I returned today only to find my remaining banked reset gone, and AI support not knowing how to handle this....@thsottiaux I know you get lots of "tags" but hoping a human can jump in and see what happened.. Love CODEX and have so enjoyed coding again in almost 20 yeas.... even have an @Lightroom plugin/app on the apple App Store, built because I had over 70,000 images from #cherobyl (I have been there 15 times) and #CODEX help me build the app

25% of my CODEX Rest to burn through before the global reset...lots getting done, even my screen play :-)

Always nice to earn revenue from your images:-) Especially when its a magazine you use to read all the time while in college (I studied Engineering at University of Colorado)

Who says AI doesn't have a sense of humor...was asking about some sod installation and mentioned I had used sod spikes to keep the sod down in a few areas because Spicoli loves digging...mentioned he was pissed and dug around the sod since he couldn't dig it up...this was ChatGPT's response "And the fact that he specifically dug around the stapled sod rather than randomly somewhere else confirms he's not merely digging for entertainment—he understands there's something removable under there and is trying to engineer his way around the fasteners. Unfortunately, you appear to have acquired a furry civil engineer."📷

Back in the editor's chair for my best friend's new project in Nashville....9 cameras with 2 hours and 15 minutes of live music and just over 1,000 cuts in DaVinci Resolve I spend most of my days on the strategy side of the media world so every so often it is good to actually push the buttons again....nothing recharges the creative "juices" faster Amsterdam for IBC next month. Old friends and new toys....my wallet is already nervous :-)

I have been doing a lot of development lately and continuing to push what I know and what I can build. Recently I built an app to help me write. It involved a lot of model training and organization around one very specific target: my voice. I built it to answer a specific question. Could I create something that actually writes like me.... and could that writing get past systems looking for AI-generated text? A slightly circular design problem. Build an AI writing tool that does not sound like an AI writing tool :-) Whether this makes me a good coder is not really the point. I am a designer. To me that is the useful distinction. Define what the thing needs to do.... organize the pieces around that goal.... then build it. This will never become an app that I sell. The training and the corpus of knowledge that's required is too much. But it is fun and if somebody is interested...reach out.

Every master gets QC'd twice.... Once by the delivery spec and once by a person squinting at waveforms at 2 am. The tools that automate it are enterprise software with enterprise pricing. So I am building MediaReconISR at ISRForge (isrforge.com). An AutoQC that runs entirely LOCAL on your Mac. Nothing gets uploaded anywhere. 20 check categories....everything from decode errors to loudness to lip sync to caption timing to OCR that reads the screen and catches a wrong version slate or a stray phone number. Every finding in plain English with timecoded evidence. This one master came back with 75 findings across 32 issue types Affordable. On purpose. Being an engineer with poor impulse control, I built the tool I wanted :-) @postPerspective, @ProVideoCoalition, @RedSharkNews, @nofilmschool @IBCShow @editblog @philiphodgetts @LarryJordanFCP #PostProduction #AutoQC #MediaTech #IBC2026

Well I did a "thing" 📷 I now have a software company......First app is on the Apple App Store TelemetryISR which is an AI Driven Plugin and App for Lightroom tinyurl.com/TelemtryISR It would be great if you would follow and help spread the news....and if you have app ideas let me know facebook.com/profile.php?id=…

A United States Air Force McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle from the Louisiana Air National Guard (tail code JZ) flies low in the midground as it climbs after takeoff. In the foreground, multiple General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcons belonging to the USAF Thunderbirds demonstration team sit parked on the tarmac with open canopies and ground crew nearby. The background features a tree line under a partially cloudy blue sky during the Wings Over North Georgia airshow. @MCCCANM @Combat_learjet This is a discription created by TelemetryISR for Lightroom @photoshopCAFE Would love to show you all the features tinyurl.com/TelemtryISR

Want to see what my TelemetryISR Lightroom Plug in can see in a photo? This is the description my app generated for the attached photo. This was a fully automated process and cost $0.03. I also show you the specific TelemetryISR custom meta data I add to lightroom "An F-15 Eagle fighter jet climbs away from the runway with its twin afterburners brightly illuminated. In the foreground, two United States Air Force Thunderbirds F-16 Fighting Falcon jets are parked on the tarmac with their canopies open. Ground support equipment, including a yellow generator unit, is positioned near the aircraft. The scene is captured under an overcast sky during the Wings Over North Georgia airshow in Rome, Georgia." tinyurl.com/TelemtryISR @Lightroom

Puppy Spicoli is growing up fast. 7 months and already 72 lbs. he is going to be a very big boy

Had a little fun this 4th of July. Our boys that past away having fun together :-) celebrating this amazing countries 250th birthday

Its Official!!! My app was accepted after review. I am amazed that they did not require any changes. I have to finish some marketing stuff then make it live on the Apple Store. #Lightroom #lightroomedits @Lightroom Haven't written code in 20 years, but necessity is the mother of invention, I had over 100k images from #Chernobyl without tags or description in lightroom

Playing with Google Omni and thought this was fitting example :-) @BuzzPatterson @RealTraderJill @shaunvlog_

In December of 2024 between Christmas and New Year's, I went to Hamburg, Germany to visit friends from the States and also a few German friends. Dropping into the primary command center felt like entering a brass and steel pressure cooker. The main tactical station is completely dominated by analog readout panels and exposed high-voltage conduits. Soviet designers clearly didn't give a damn about knee space. I found spread paper charts showing coastal depth measurements. Geometry over digital logic. My neck still hurts from clearing those low clearance hatches. #SovietEngineering #U434
