The Smashwords summer sale has rolled around again. Discounts on various of my books (including a 100% discount on Psefisato, i.e. it's free for the duration.) You can find em here: smashwords.com/profile/view/…

Wellll, apparently the owner of this site is now the world's 1st trillionaire. By a remarkable coincidence, that also happens to the protagonist of my latest book -- although he doesn't get terribly long to enjoy that status tbh. amazon.com/dp/B0FTWG3LG6

The zeros in 2001: A Space Odyssey's title card are not actually zeros. Kubrick used the Gill Sans typeface for these and preferred the capital letter O rather than the narrower zero (0) for the numbers. The film's tile is typographically "2 Oh Oh 1" or "2 Oooh! 1"

I am, by the way, very pleased with myself for finally getting the word 'conglobation' into a story. :-V

A few pulp legends... from left to right: Farnsworth Wright, Henry Kuttner, and Robert Bloch!
Happy birthday to pulp-era weird fiction writer Henry Kuttner, born April 7, 1915. Kuttner wrote prolifically for the pulp magazines, was a member of the original Lovecraft Circle, and was married to fellow weird fiction writer C. L. Moore. What’s your favorite Kuttner story?

Proving difficult to concentrate on creating scenes of hellish underwater terror while the sun beams down, bluebells are blooming, and fauns gambol with lambs in the field over the road.

It was a hard one to blurb, that, but it's essentially a (non-horror) mutual possession story -- two bodies sharing but a single brain.
