दिनांक 27.10.2026 को स्वच्छता अभियान 6.0 के अंतर्गत निगम द्वारा आयोजित हथकरघा प्रदर्शनी स्थल पर हथकरघा बुनकरों के लिए स्वच्छता कार्यशाला का आयोजन किया गया।
कार्यशाला के दौरान बुनकरों को व्यक्तिगत स्वच्छता, कार्यस्थल की साफ-सफाई, कचरे के उचित निस्तारण तथा गीले एवं सूखे कचरे को अलग-अलग रखने के महत्व के बारे में जानकारी दी गई। साथ ही, प्रदर्शनी स्थल पर स्वच्छ वातावरण बनाए रखने, प्लास्टिक के अनावश्यक उपयोग से बचने तथा स्वच्छता संबंधी नियमों का नियमित रूप से पालन करने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया गया।
कार्यशाला में उपस्थित हथकरघा बुनकरों ने स्वच्छता के महत्व को समझते हुए अपने कार्यस्थल एवं आसपास के क्षेत्र को स्वच्छ रखने में सक्रिय सहयोग देने का संकल्प लिया।

🏭 From Geotextiles to Carbon Fibre: Textile Commissioner Tours BTRA’s Research Facilities!✨
Ms. Vrunda Manohar Desai, Textile Commissioner, accompanied by Shri Ajay Pandit, Additional Textile Commissioner, visited the Bombay Textile Research Association (BTRA), Mumbai, today.
Dr. Sreekumar, Director, BTRA, made a detailed presentation on the activities and initiatives undertaken by BTRA in the areas of research and development, consultancy, testing services and technical textiles, highlighting the organisation’s capabilities and contributions to the textile sector. The presentation was followed by a tour of BTRA’s facilities, during which the Director briefed the Textile Commissioner on the physical and chemical testing laboratories and the facilities of the Geotextiles Laboratory established under the Centre of Excellence (CoE).
A detailed demonstration of the carbon precursor and carbonisation processes was also conducted, providing an insight into the technological capabilities and ongoing work in this area.
The visit provided an opportunity to review BTRA’s research infrastructure, testing capabilities and initiatives in technical textiles, including advanced materials and specialised applications.

दिनांक 26.10.2026 को स्वच्छता अभियान 6.0 के अंतर्गत निगम के आईटी विभाग के वरिष्ठ प्रबंधक द्वारा ई-कचरे (E-Waste) के सुरक्षित निस्तारण के संबंध में एक जागरूकता व्याख्यान दिया गया।
व्याख्यान के दौरान बताया गया कि कंप्यूटर, लैपटॉप, प्रिंटर, मॉनिटर, की-बोर्ड, माउस, बैटरी, केबल तथा अन्य अनुपयोगी इलेक्ट्रॉनिक उपकरण ई-कचरे की श्रेणी में आते हैं। इन उपकरणों को सामान्य कचरे के साथ फेंकना या खुले में जलाना हानिकारक हो सकता है।
आईटी विभाग द्वारा ई-कचरे के सुरक्षित निस्तारण के लिए निम्नलिखित उपाय बताए गए:
1. अनुपयोगी इलेक्ट्रॉनिक उपकरणों को सामान्य कचरे से अलग करके एक निर्धारित स्थान पर एकत्रित किया जाए।
2. पुराने कंप्यूटर, लैपटॉप एवं अन्य डिजिटल उपकरणों को निस्तारण हेतु देने से पहले उनमें उपलब्ध गोपनीय एवं कार्यालयीन डेटा को सुरक्षित रूप से मिटाया जाए।
3. ई-कचरे का निस्तारण केवल अधिकृत ई-कचरा पुनर्चक्रणकर्ताओं अथवा निर्धारित संग्रहण एजेंसियों के माध्यम से किया जाए।
अंत में, सभी कर्मचारियों से अपील की गई कि वे स्वच्छता अभियान 6.0 के उद्देश्यों को सफल बनाने हेतु ई-कचरे के सुरक्षित निस्तारण की प्रक्रिया का पालन करें तथा पर्यावरण संरक्षण में अपना योगदान दें।

CCI marked the commencement of Vigilance Awareness Week (VAW) 2026 (26.10.2026 to 01.11.2026) with the administration of the Integrity Pledge by Shri R.K. Gupta, Director (Finance) to all employees.
The employees were inspired to uphold the values of integrity, transparency and accountability in the discharge of their official duties, in line with the theme of VAW 2026, “Probity for Prosperity” (सत्यनिष्ठा से समृद्धि).
A walkathon was also flagged off by Shri R.K. Gupta, Director (Finance), and Smt. Nidhi S Jain, CVO. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation by employees, who carried the message of vigilance and the VAW theme to the public, spreading awareness about the importance of integrity and ethical conduct in public service.
