The final School Led Training day for our wonderful 2021-22 @cardiffmet PGCE students. At @TonyrefailCS we feel so privileged to be able to play a role in this formative part of their teaching journeys. Bright futures ahead! 🤩
Delighted to have our @ITEcardiffmet students on site @TonyrefailCS for today’s SLT Day13. Collaborating about collaboration! Big thanks to @TonLowerSchool @NathannDaviess8 @misseriles @JSantosMFL @mrs_w_tcs @TonyrefailHSS for welcoming them in to your classrooms.
Thank you @JSantosMFL for a great TOAST session this morning. App-solutely engaging and inspiring!

With a bit of time between CP1 and CP2, I decided to borrow and read this wonderful book, upon the suggestion of @MikeCameronTCS @TonyrefailCS. Not far in, but I can already tell its a brilliant read! Can't wait to get back in the classroom! #pgce #teachertwitter

Just finished off the best first placement with a fun game of bingo with the @TCS_Y5 children and staff. Can’t thank everyone at @TonyrefailCS enough for the all the support during CP1, especially during these strange times. Sad to be leaving but excited to start CP2 in Year 1 🥳

CP1 completed✅ Sad to be leaving such an incredible school with the best support system but excited to start CP2 with my new year 3 class! Looking forward to seeing everyone again on SLT days! @TCS_Inclusion. Good luck everyone🤞🏼✨
Deepening our thinking about our learners’ (and our own!) needs in today’s @ITEcardiffmet SLT day. So much knowledge, thought and compassion shown from our student teachers. And a big thank you to @MissLarsen90 for sharing her expertise.

Gobsmacked that I have been awarded an 82 on my first PGCE assignment with some lovely feedback. Could not have achieved this without the support from @ITEcardiffmet and @PLDTonyrefail. What a wonderful start to the term!
The pupils came back from the session happy and energised 👏🏻
Great to see our @ITEcardiffmet students delivering lessons to those learners who are in the school building. Some very happy, glittery learning followed on from reading and discussion of @RBrightBooks ‘The Worrysaurus’ today. Well done @MissLAThomas 👏🏻

Such a fantastic opportunity to present my research findings to some of the lovely SLT of @TonyrefailCS. Feeling very pleased that the school appreciate our findings enough to consider them for the future of TCS. @ITEcardiffmet #PGCE
