So only he gets to make renovations? Fuck this fat piece of shit
๐Ÿšจ JUST NOW: President Trump signs a proclamation making the Oval Office and Cabinet Room NATIONAL MONUMENTS, permanently protecting them from being altered or torn down by future administrations without Congressional approval "It will not be allowed to be touched by anybody, destroyed, ripped down by STUPID PEOPLE in order to build something in a slightly different shape." "If anyone ever decides to come and start knocking down walls, you'll call me, wherever I may be and I will come back here and I will make sure it never happens." ๐Ÿ˜‚

For nearly 50 years, paleontologists had absolutely no idea what Deinocheirus looked like. When its fossils were first discovered in Mongolia in 1965, all they had were two enormous arms measuring about 8 feet long, with massive claws. Naturally, they assumed they were dealing with some kind of giant predator ๐Ÿ‘€ Turns out, Deinocheirus was one of the strangest dinosaurs weโ€™ve ever discovered. It lived about 70 million years ago, grew to roughly 36 feet long, weighed around 6 tons, and had a duck-like bill, a huge belly, and a tall hump on its back. So just another weirdo just how I like em! When more complete skeletons were finally studied in 2014, scientists discovered it was actually the largest known member of the ostrich-mimic dinosaurs, despite being built nothing like a runner (rude). It had broad feet suited to muddy ground and spent much of its time around rivers and wetlands eating vegetation, fish, and whatever else it could find. One specimen even contained more than 1,400 swallowed stones that helped grind up its food. 50 years of imagining some enormous killing machine, only to discover a six-ton duck with a beer belly so some of you can probably relate. #parmasdailydinofact

This clade includes several highly miniaturized and understudied lineages whose phylogenetic placements have long remained contentious. Here, we present the first phylogenomic analysis of Cypriniformes with complete family-level representation and broad genus-level coverage, encompassing 316 species comprising โˆผ30% of all described genera. Our dataset integrates 257 newly assembled genomes with publicly available resources and analyzes multiple sets of genome-wide markers using both concatenation-based and coalescent-aware approaches. The general concordance among analytical frameworks indicates that the backbone topology of Cypriniformes is now established, allowing clear identification of well-supported clades and regions of persistent conflict. Our results strengthen the evolutionary relationships of several miniaturized lineages, while identifying recalcitrant relationships shaped by both biological processes and model artifacts that can yield superficially similar patterns of phylogenetic conflict. Our study substantially expands genomic representation and establishes a phylogenomic foundation for future comparative, developmental, and evolutionary research in this freshwater radiation. ๐—ฃ๐—ต๐—ผ๐˜๐—ผ ๐—–๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฑ๐—ถ๐˜ a) ASTRAL-IV species tree showing the hypothesis of phylogenomic relationships of Cypriniformes inferred from 335 species and 1,167 loci (total alignment length: 541,983โ€…bp), based on combined first and second codon positions of BUSCO.NT.C12 and UCE nucleotide dataset. The numbers indicate the different Cypriniformes families. The major conflicting zones of phylogenetic relationships are highlighted in gray (see Fig. 2; Figures S11 and S12).
