I guess after two years of supporting apex legends and multiple teams and experiencing one of the best moments in my life in Sapporo i can safely say i am quite disappointed. I don’t give a crap about the money we have spent to attend this tournament i am just frustrated. I applaud the effort of EA trying to give an opportunity to alot of teams to experience a lan tournament but this just feels wrong and rushed. I cant even see my own team play cause face it isn’t working properly. Its unfair for anyone that has experienced a properly organized lan to have this as a comparison. I hope everything is fixed cause every player and every fan deserve better.

I see that people are questioning our decision. I have no explanation to give to all the angry fans that have never done a single thing for esports then flame in twitter. The people that have supported us for a long time know how hard it was for us to part ways with the boys. Personally in the past i’ve openly talked about my frustration with riot and T2 but i decided that after seeing and meeting this team i would give it a shot. Unfortunately the system in T2 works in a way that doesn’t forgive failure and to be honest at some point we need to stop seeing everything romantically just cause we love a game. I personally apologized and thanked my players as they are the one’s that are getting mostly affected by this. To everyone else shit talking the org i would recommend to ask around about how brutal the ecosystem of esports is and how much we have supported multiple teams in two years with 0 funding. Anyways i want to thank the boys again for everything and wish them the best of luck!
Goodbye guys! Thank you for being part of our team🫡

Hello i tried to log into my EA account i have been using for years supporting this company as a customer but as an investor and i get notified that my account is locked due to breach of TOS. I know that i have never done anything to breach TOS i only play apex on stream with my friends i don't use this account for any other games except maybe FIFA games on release. I tried to contact support emailed them from multiple accounts the past 7 days but to no avail. I don't want any special treatment due to my position i just want one person to read my case and check my account and see that there has been no breach from my part. Is there anyone that is experiencing something similar? My biggest issue is not that this happened people make mistakes its the fact that i cant find a person to actually check my account and correct the mistake. Please if anyone can help or knows anyone that could assist me in this issue DM me freely. @EAHelp @Respawn @PlayApex gyazo.com/a0bab700d8c4ed4b76…

I am all for expanding the ALGS to 160 teams to grow the esport, inspire up and coming players and give everyone a chance. But then you gotta go all the way and actually give everyone an equal starting field. The current version just seems halfassed imo. It's 2025 and this could have so easily been solved by just doing a designated skinbundle or merchandise for the Open LAN which would have crowdfunded all the travel, accommodation and then some for the 160 team open LAN. If you are going to do this do it right or stick to what we already know that's my personal opinion.

Im sick and tired of reading all the stupid comments by people with a lower iq than a nasa monkey. We fought to keep the boys, we just got outbid by an org with bigger pockets. The decision of the boys to prioritize a better contract than what we could offer is completely understandable. I respect and cherish the boys for what they did for me and the org. Whoever thinks GoNext is a small org can show me any org that has won a world championship in a competitive game like apex in two years of its creation. To all the doubters see you after the next major. @GoNextEsports

After winning worlds many asked who is @GoNextEsports ? Gonext is a family, an idea that started almost two years ago from a group of friends that loved esports. In these two last years we have achieved creating some of the most competitive teams in games like valorant, apex and tft. We have treated and supported every player in our team like a friend valuing personal relationships above business. Our goal was always to become an org that anyone that worked with us would be happy and proud to do so. To be honest we were never great at viewing GoNext as a business and i think thats our biggest positive but also our biggest negative. What i can promise is that GoNext will always be an org that will always prioritise their players and their staff over anything cause at the end of the day thats how we have succeeded till now. Last but not least the only thing i can promise to all the doubters that GoNext will become one of the most successful org’s in the world. Thanks again for all the support!

Words cant describe how i feel right now and how proud i am of my boys. I started this org almost two years ago and look where we are now. I want to thank my boys from the bottom of my heart for bringing so much joy to my life. I wanna thank everyone that cheered for us and also everyone that worked for this insane lan that i will never forget. I am not a man of many words the only thing i can say is i will do everything in my power as an org owner and as a person that loves esports to continue to support my players and the scene so me and other people that love esports can share moments like this. Hello everyone this is gonna be a long post but a interesting one so bear with me. After a long time of supporting riot and the T2 ecosystem its our time to step down. Personally speaking i have given 150% of myself into creating something beautiful that can help players but also the game excel but never got the same response from East or Riot. We have been emailing, calling and messaging any possible contact we have to get at least a bit of information about the league or what is going to go on in the future with no aveil. From our side as an organization we did everything we could to support the game, we provided a stable environment for our players, we payed on time, we supported them daily and we brought a huge fanbase that came to love the game as much as we did. We have been trying so hard for the past 2 months to find any reason to invest everything we have like last year but we literally cant find one reason with how things are. I know this post wont affect or change anything and that's what hurts me the most, ive made friends through this game that make a living out of this and its just disheartening how wrong the system works. People that know us and that have worked with us know that the last thing we cared about is the money we only wanted to create something that would bring some joy to our life outside of all the responsibilities and problems we have cause at the end of the day that's what game's are all about. My personal opinion is that Riot should wake up and start responding faster to the T2 crisis cause this is becoming a literal clown fiesta. I just want to thank everyone that i worked with from the bottom of my heart from my coaching staff, my players, the fans and some people in East league that actually did their job. I wish everything miraculously gets fixed cause i really do love the game and i wanna support it and the people involved in it but for now we are out. Again thank you so much for everything you gave me some of the best years of my life. Till next time @GoNextEsports .

Perspective from a CEO spending $700,000 on our Valorant Team in 2 years to compete in T2: What would you do if after pouring $700,000 into a dream, you found out it was never built to last? (if you are an esports fan, player or somehow involved in esports, I appreciate a like and retweet for awareness) That’s exactly the reality we faced as we sought to compete in Tier 2 Valorant. When Riot reduced the 2 - year franchise slot to just one year, it felt like a slap in the face. That’s when we began to reconsider our place in the game. We weren’t alone - others felt it too. After winning champs in 2021, we were invited to apply for the VCT Franchise. It felt like everything was coming together. We even secured a final 20 spot and flew to Berlin to pitch our plans in front of the decision-makers. But we didn’t make the cut. Surprisingly, we weren’t too upset. Why? Well, the competing orgs had a lot more experience, a bigger fanbase, and significantly larger budgets. Let me be clear: our impression of the Riot staff was excellent. They were professional, passionate, diligent, and extremely friendly. But once we descended to T2, everything changed. That’s when the nightmare began. You see, fighting for just one slot across all of Europe isn’t just difficult - it’s ruthless, but potentially extremely rewarding. We knew we could make it and we came damn close in year one of competing in T2 by finishing #3 in Ascension. Teams, including ours, poured money, time, and heart into the competition, paying good salaries and making massive sacrifices. Let’s be honest: T2 Valorant has only existed for two reasons: - Players grinding to make their way up. - Orgs like ours investing in those players, hoping to compete for that elusive slot. Without the franchise system as a goal, would T2 even exist? I don’t think so. What happened to the T2 scene? Is Riot understaffed? Do they not care? Or are the wrong people in charge? Any of these possibilities would spell disaster for building a sustainable T2 ecosystem. And trust me, it wouldn’t take much to fix, definitely not a lot of money. We’ll be diving deeper into this mess in our next podcast episode with @KrimsonAer and @ElevatedSpeaks , discussing the changes needed for a better T2 ecosystem. Stay tuned. As for us? Competitive Valorant is a closed chapter for now. The mismanagement of tournaments, broadcasts that don't appeal to the majority, low viewership, prize money delays (even casters waiting for their 2023 payments!), a lack of communication, and the cancellation of Split 3 tournaments. It all got worse. If we ever return, it’ll either be in a massively profitable situation (finding a low - budget team with a lot of potential) or in a more sustainable ecosystem. But the harsh reality is, T2 Valorant has been a slap in the face, not just for orgs like ours, but for the players too. They sacrifice their time and lives chasing the dream of going pro, while countless people behind the scenes, coaches, management, editors, designers, work tirelessly for the same goal. And let’s be real, they aren’t getting rich from it; for most, it’s pure passion. At times, it feels like we are being exploited. Too many people work in this industry for “an apple and an egg” (a German saying .. you get the point). Yet, for many, working in esports is the dream. That said, I’ve also seen the opposite. People in critical roles being massively overpaid while delivering incompetence that ruins the progress for everyone. Esports deserves better. Valorant deserves better. Maybe Riot’s focus is on T1. Maybe the higher-ups are unaware of what’s going on. Maybe things will change. But right now, it’s a disaster for orgs. It's an even worse system for the players. We can pivot to other games or opportunities. But the pro players? They’re stuck. They’ve dedicated years to mastering this game, and learning another from scratch could take years more. They’re the ones being hit hardest. I truly feel for the countless unsigned T2 teams and players who deserve to make a living in this space. Whether you're an org owner, an esports worker, or a player unsure of your next step - join our Discord. Let’s continue the conversation, reach out if you want to chat, need help, have ideas. Maybe together, we can find a way forward. You're not alone. Stay strong, Ben

One year ago we joined the scene with no experience and limited budget and look what we achieved. I am as confident as ever that we can learn from our mistakes and create the best team that has ever existed in T2. Go Next is winning ascension next year. Time to cook for 2025.

Our season ends here. We created this team one year ago and in our first year we were considered one of the best in Europe. Through this team i had the chance to make new friends cause that's how i see my players. I don't regret anything and even if i knew i would win ascension with a different roster i wouldn't change A SINGLE THING! . You guys have brought so much joy in my life and i am so fucking proud of you. Two days doesn't reflect the strength of this team. In my mind i would love to have the same team next year but to be honest i want all my players to go to T1 cause they deserve it. I wanna say a huge thanks to everyone that supported us from the player's, fan's, staff that were a part of this journey (+ the baboons from the secret discord). 2025 @GoNextEsports is winning ascension. Don't be sad boys i am so proud of you thank you for everything! @zeekrino @Buld01 @alexiiik_val @profekval @minnyfn @YabaCSGO @tsackk
