So now y’all trying to act like Jay-Z — who most people consider to be the greatest rapper EVER — isn’t relevant enough to be the Super Bowl halftime performer? And is a nepotism hire? Respectfully, that’s just stupid. Also: When Roger Goodell partnered with Roc Nation, he said then he hoped one day he’d be the Super Bowl halftime performer.

The last solo "hit" Jay-Z had was, “The Story of O.J.” (from the 2017 album 4:44), which peaked at No. 23 on the Billboard Hot 100. This isn't a DEI hire, it's a nepotism hire. And you know what? That's fine. Who you know is more important than what you know. #SuperBowl 🙏

Amy Acton’s step dad Cledith was indicted for raping Amy in 1978. He fled the state with Amy’s mother Donna before trial. Donna stayed married to Cledith until he died in 2004. Cledith was also indicted for Incest in 1974 before marrying Donna. Good Saturday

If this woman were black, the whole conversation would be about DEI. Funny how when white employees fail, nobody mentions THEIR race or ethnicity. And yet — how much of Trump’s administration is just affirmative action for nice-looking white people?

Alan Hahn: "Knicks fans understand: What this 2nd apron does…(if hypothetically KAT got max) it could be $100 million/year in tax. Don't say it's just money…that money's going to other teams…they'll have this money in their pocket & try to beat me with it. I don't like that system… "I'll never forget…(small market) Nuggets won championship, guy who owns them ~4th richest owner ($28 billion)––and he took revenue sharing! Come on seriously…that's insane… "So you can understand why there's a little hesitation to just say 'Write the check, who cares, we won a title'––there's a business aspect you wanna make sure you balance. And I think that's the biggest part of this problem. It has nothing to do with how they feel about KAT" Recorded before Knicks shut down extension talks but still must-watch: @alanhahn with @JCMacriNBA on @KnickFilmSkool: youtu.be/uNUV5MB7ASk

The Knicks went through a stretch that could have completely derailed their season. The brutal 2-9 stretch had everyone questioning this team. KAT was right in the middle of it. His role was questioned, his defensive effort was scrutinized, and his name was even caught up in Giannis trade talks. But neither KAT nor the Knicks wavered. That ugly stretch became a turning point. Slowly but surely, KAT found his place, the Knicks kicked into another gear, and they became NBA champions.

"A lot of people will come up & say 'How does it feel to be the first African American to win the D1 national championship?' And I say I feel offended by the statement Because the statement implies John Thompson was the first Black person who had enough intelligence I might have been the first Black person who was provided with an opportunity to compete for this prize — that you have discriminated against thousands of my ancestors to deny them this opportunity A lot of men were deprived of the opportunity Who would have won it far before I did" –– Georgetown coach John Thompson, who won the 1984 NCAA championship with his star Patrick Ewing Happy 85th birthday Coach 🎂 RIP

The trade, the picks were validated with the win. His efficiency and defense were of the highest order on their run to the finals. In the close out game he hit key shot after key shot.
The weight of the world left his shoulders in this moment. Kal is free.

The Spurs chirped, shoved, made it personal. He never took the bait. He was also shooting with a tendon snapping over the bone in his left wrist which required surgery three weeks later. 32.6 a night. 45 in the closeout. Unanimous Finals MVP. He never gave them a word back. Just let his game do the talking and lifted the trophy in their own building.

So let me get this straight. Taylor Farms lettuce gets linked to the cyclospora outbreak. The CEO visits the White House and donates to Trump. Then the FDA says the positive finding was a “false positive.” Nothing suspicious about that at all.

I expect every Republican who was outraged at people for celebrating Charlie Kirk’s death to immediately condemn Trump for saying “I’m glad he’s dead” about Robert Mueller. This is disgusting.
