Stop retweeting and giving @TimSweeneyEpic free promotion on his utterly stupid takes. Like the Epic Games Store, if he wants exposure, he has to buy it.

Epic Games boss Tim Sweeney doubled down on his severe criticism of Valve, calling Steam’s AI content disclosure a “political act.” bit.ly/4jHenJg
Here is the pattern I keep hearing from cold calls and recruiters, without fail..
Studio builds something great. The people who made it great leave within 18 months. The next team inherits the IP but not the taste. Three years later everyone is asking "...why the magic is gone."
That is NOT a talent problem. It’s a retention problem dressed up as one. If you’re building a studio right now, the first hire that matters isn’t your engineering lead. It’s the person who’ll still be defending the original idea in year four.
...and that person isn’t a title. Sometimes it’s the creative director, sometimes it’s a senior designer nobody put on the org chart. But you 100% know them by one trait when you hear or meet them in the studio... they’re the ones saying “no, that’s not what this game is” in every meeting, three years after everyone else stopped caring and surrendered or left.

EA's CEO pulled in $5 million more this year than last, while his employees took home the least money they've made since 2022 pcgamer.com/gaming-industry/…
I’ve been posting on X for years about the executive suite of gaming and the crash we’re seeing. I warned that gaming leadership isn’t creative, I warned that Wall Street and investor calls would ruin games. It’s all true. It’s all happened.
Want to fix it? Stop buying games from AAA companies, like right now. Support small, creative and independent studios. Vote with your wallet, the more power you give them the bigger the poison pill they become to our industry and art form.
This is what they planned, is why they went private. It’s going to be a blood bath. It will get worse. Even DICE isn’t safe.
With BioWare dead, EA lays out its 'next chapter,' and it's pretty much what we expected and feared pcgamer.com/gaming-industry/…

Yeah this is bad. An unauthenticated remote-code-execution exploit for *any* PHP version out there, with simple scripts. You need to patch ASAP.
Or even take stuff offline in the meantime. Looks like POCs are out there already.
Doomsday scenario for PHP 🤯

Remember to leave @WARDOGS a review on steam if you haven't already. They are still getting review-bombed by the Chinese review bomb mafia. If you have over 20 hours in this game, you should review it. Do do honestly!
