This is such boomer-coded mentality. Performance art levels of not noticing the reality all around you so typical of the media class. Of course young British people wouldn’t fight. Why would they? It may have escaped your notice that virtually this entire group can’t afford a home, they can’t afford kids, they have little to no stake in society. You’re drowning in your own country and the state throws a life jacket to some absolute chancer from the worst place on earth.
Most of the millennial and all the zoomer class basically have been suffering the worst imaginable omnifucking of:
1/ totally out of control immigration of the least culturally compatible units of universally interchangeable humans GDP-go-up cattle on earth
2/ disastrous Labour economic fuckwittery - eg Gosplan inspired wage compression via minimum wage increases, NICs/tax and regs on business
3/ NI-discounted extractive Indian trade deal migration, meeting AI revolution entry-level and lower tier jobspocalypse which means they increasingly can’t get jobs AT ALL.
4/ They all have tens of thousands of pounds of student debt they amassed studying Marx-addled nonsense-slop at ‘universities’ (no longer research institutes but merely Ponzi schemes running mass scale left wing progressive indoctrination) that they will never be able to pay off.
5/ They’re given video games and dating apps to fill the nihilistic void and the least ambitious of all their number are offered a life of low rent tax payer funded indolence and a free car for anxiety or ADHD at absolute best…
And you think if Putin rocked up they’d drop all that righteous grievance (to live the life they were all told they could have - the pursuit of happiness?), that they’re going to miraculously undergo some Damascene conversion and instantly forget all this and instinctively ‘man the barricades’? They’d more likely welcome the Russian despot in as comparatively far more competent leader than these room temperature IQ retards we have running the state now. Why the Malfoid and Anakin memes are a reflection of each other:
Both of these meme trends have overtaken the internet in very little time and both are aimed at young men. Some people may say that they are at odds with each other and are competing, some people (myself included) have shipped them for lols, but the very real part of it is the synergetic way that these memes embody the very real struggle of Young White Men.
The Malfoid meme started first at the end of September, and has taken off with no real end in sight (#malfoidforever). Why? Because it hearkens back to a time of Romance, of Courtship, of when the world was as simple as figuring out if the girl who is teasing you actually likes you. It has taken the Tsundere trope from anime (Quite teasing me Miss Nagatoro and many others) and ported it into a beloved Western fictional series. And very well at that. In many ways, it does improve the lore of the original story. And does it more respectfully than HBO’s absolutely coal series they are trying to create. It brings a lighthearted sense of purity and joy to the timeline that has been long bogged down with war, egirls, nothing ever happens memes, political divisiveness, lifestyle agendas that normal people reject, violence from minorities, riots, inflation, etc. The yearning for that simple affection is so very real. And the ridiculing and calling these young men incels is fairly barbaric. But, that is par for the course from the world that hates them.
We flip the coin and the real feelings of Young White Men is revealed, the iceberg below the surface. They see the Malfoid idea of love and finding a great wife...and are reminded that reality has been stripped from them. Getting a girl means taking care of yourself which means getting a job. A job which has been outsourced to skilless workers from the 3rd world that have been drug into Western nations against the wishes of the people. Even if you get the job and the girl, where is it even safe to raise you kids without them being attack and killed by swarthy hordes? And here we start to see the connection. The republic/system has failed them. The system they have been forced to support has not only turned on them, but also put them down and told them at first that they were imagining it. Now they are told to stop complaining about being replaced and how it is a good thing. People are trying to cope and say that's all there is to it. Oh no...oh God no. The part that absolutely clicks for them is the absolute destruction of the system and tearing down every last thing that is in their way. You can say "well, he turned evil...the empire is evil...learn from his mistake!". Life isn't a movie. There isn't some happy ending with Ewoks. There is simply kill or be killed. And Anakin is the embodiment of that. Young White Men know this. And they are going through a mental meditation before things get going.
Malfoy represents the Ideal, the Super Ego. Anakin represents the reality, the Id.
And Young White Men are standing between the two, not conflicted...but know that the only way to save themselves and their world is through absolutely world shaking levels of "evil". From a certain point of view.
