Over and over again, school districts have to choose between school closures or raising regressive property taxes that fall hardest on low- and middle-income families.

.@PSEClassified member CJ reminds us that a default of any kind not only hurts families today; it hurts future generations by undermining our education system. We cannot afford to lose funding for Medicaid, SNAP, and services for students who need support.

"In his 31-minute State of the State address last week, Inslee devoted 15 seconds to special education," And that is the problem. Very few Olympia politicians are focused on our paramount duty: fully funding education. @PSEClassified @washingtonea

Governor, fully funding basic education should be at the top of your list. We are still far too dependent on local levies @washingtonea @PSEClassified
The 2023 #waleg session begins Jan 9. Housing, homelessness and behavioral health are the top of my priority list. We’ve taken new approaches in the past couple years that are starting to make a difference and I don’t want to lose ground by slowing down.
