🇪🇸 BREAKING: MAJOR EXPLOSION AT SPANISH MUNITIONS FACTORY IN GRANADA
A powerful explosion has struck the Fábrica de Municiones de Granada in El Fargue, Spain.
Initial reports:
• At least three people injured, reportedly suffering hearing-related injuries.
• Explosion occurred around 09:00 local time.
• A large mushroom-shaped smoke cloud was visible across Granada.
• The blast was felt in surrounding communities.
• Police, firefighters and explosives specialists have responded.
The facility, owned by Czech defence group CSG, produces artillery ammunition, propellants and other military components.
According to initial reports, the explosion occurred in a restricted gunpowder-disposal area, possibly during a routine test.
The cause remains under investigation. There is currently no evidence establishing sabotage.

Yet the country responsible for contaminating vast areas of Ukrainian land is now set to play a leading role in global mine action as Russian ambassador has been appointed to lead UN mine action.

Finnish Navy is procuring four Pohjanmaa-class corvettes under its Squadron 2020 (Laivue 2020) project. The vessels will form the core of Finland’s surface combatant fleet together with the four Hamina-class missile boats, and are designed for the demanding conditions of the Baltic Sea, including operations during icy winter conditions.
All four vessels are now under different stages of construction at the Rauma Shipyard. The first two vessels have already been launched – the first in May 2025 and the second in May 2026 – and are currently in the outfitting stage. The keel-laying ceremony of the fourth corvette was held in August.
