Another day crying in Affinity. Pro tip: before opening an Affinity Designer file, back it up. You never know which will get get irreversibly corrupted after saving. @affinitybyserif

I love @affinitybyserif and use it daily, but on both the Mac and iPad it is the buggiest, most crash-prone software I've used in a decade. I patiently wait for a turnaround. Maybe one day.

When you code a new feature and works on the first try: 🤔 There must be a huge bug hiding behind this somewhere.

Talk quietly across the room, facing a wall, next to a noisy fridge with the water faucet running. #HomePod Siri picks it up perfectly. It’s insane. – at Montebello, CA

Bonus: #HomePod can be used as an AirPlay speaker, or, you can access it remotely to queue songs to it via iTunes or Music App. It can remain as an independent music source relying on other devices #UI. Though Siri is working great so far (surprisingly). – at Montebello, CA
The setup of the #HomePod shows Apple’s #UX mastery. Siri guides through it briefly. Asks to bring your iPhone close to it. Then you ask her what can she do for you, and finally you have to ask her “Hey Siri, play some music”. The setup/tutorial ends with music. Brilliant. – at Montebello, CA

#HomePod is here! News sites got it wrong as usual. Apple worries too much about privacy. First thing you get asked is if you want to let the HomePod take personal requests or not.
I found out why my files were disappearing. If you drag them to @CloudApp and something goes wrong, it will permanently delete your file. That needs fixing ASAP. Sharing with iCloud Drive meanwhile. – at Montebello, CA
Music sees your Where's Waldo? and raises to Where's the Play button? #UI #UIdesign #UX @AppleMusic
