It felt great to go back and hear Chuck Amato's raspy voice on the old podcast back in 2021.
On his last appearance, he talked about Bobby Bowden's passing, Philip Rivers' first fall camp, and much more.

It was a great blessing and privilege to play for Coach Amato! He created an environment filled with belief, unity, toughness, hard work, discipline, perseverance, and much more. I’m seeing a lot of what he instilled in us during those years at STATE being lived out by my PACK BROTHERS!
He has greatly impacted my life and consequently my children’s lives because of the great man and coach he was!
He will be missed!

Dave Doeren uses a Ruffin McNeill quote when describing the criticism of him this season:
"When you win and have a great season, people want you to write a book. When you lose, they don't think you can read one."
NC State starting OF Yousef Mugharbil and TE Vander Ploog are out for the remainder of the 2026 season, according to Dave Doeren.
RB Duke Scott, WR Jojo Trader, OG Kamen Smith and SS Tristan Teasdell are “day-to-day” heading into the Stanford game.
