Once upon a time you could rely on your local #ILR Station for on the spot info in mad weather situations like this - but @Ofcom let all the little local stations to be taken over by big, greedy no nothing corporates. Cutting people off from vital news. I hope they're happy!

The Canary will be closed for the foreseeable future. As of today (Monday 19 October), the Canary will be closed indefinitely. After multiple attacks this year, from Lloyds debanking us to former employees spreading malicious lies on social media, the situation has become unsustainable, both financially and operationally. After 11 years, we take this action with deep sadness and regret. The extent of the lies, defamation, and harassment by ex-staff - coupled with the constant attacks by the state and those who’d see us destroyed - has become too much. However, it is not over. This week, we will publish what really happened at the Canary and push back against the vicious campaign against our team and us. We may be down, but we’re not out yet.

Has @YvetteCooperMP ever considered that it is the corrupt establishment of which she is a member of that has caused the increase in mental health problems. Not given it a thought to busy looking at her bank account balance with all the backhanders she's taken and still taking.
