Yesterday we authorised @northumbriapol to charge two men with criminal damage to the Sycamore Gap tree and Hadrian’s Wall.
There should be no reporting, commentary, or sharing of information online which could prejudice proceedings.

Using 3 johnstones paints, 1 dulux paint and one crown paint on the current job. Not really brand loyal.
Recently used Paint and Paper Library Architects Eggshell, its self undercoating and has nice opacity and usability. 8.5/10. Benjamin Moore ScuffX is tougher and even easier to use.
Been using Little Greene Absolute Matt which has good opacity and a nice flat finish. Brushes quite nicely, not great to roll. Doesnt seal the surface as much as a durable so second coat isnt a lot easier.
Using DT Vinyl Matt today and liking it. Its going over StainAway really nicely. Appreciating how nicely it rolls/flows.
Thoughts on Johnstones StainAway. Its thick, the coverage is poor if applied undiluted. The opacity is nice. It dosent like to flow. It dries quickly. I wouldnt use it as a finish in the future just a primer. The recoat time of 4 hrs is quite long. Its more economic than primers.
How much criminality, dishonesty and damage does it take before we just say 'this company may do such and such for business but basically its operating like and organised crime gang and it needs shutting down' ? I mean the #PostOfficeScandal has been ongoing for >20 years
The post office management / culture is clearly that of crooks. But such things are not beyond the realms of possibility. What should be impossible is the political class failing to defend the people against such behaviour...only the legal profession failed more egregiously.
It took soo little to convict the sub-postmasters. How different will it be getting convictions against those in power? No justice is possible without access to justice for all.

It seems just about impossible to be imprissoned for your actions with a car. I understand why even disastrous accidents often dont result in significant punishment but when people deliberetly use a vehicle as a weapon, or try and evade the law there need to be consequences.
