⚡️🚨 BREAKING: US Forces Disable Commercial Vessel in Gulf of Oman Amid Iran Blockade Tensions
US Central Command (CENTCOM) says US forces have disabled the St. Kitts-flagged MV Hodi after it allegedly defied repeated warnings and attempted to breach Iran’s naval blockade.
CENTCOM stated that a US military aircraft struck the vessel’s stern with precision munitions after the crew was instructed to evacuate the targeted sections. The vessel had previously called at an Iranian port and was attempting to depart the region.
Separately, the UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) reported an incident involving a bulk carrier and military forces near Khorfakkan. The incident could be linked to the US operation, although this has not been independently established.
CENTCOM has issued a warning to commercial shipping operators navigating near Iran’s coastline, urging vessels to follow all military instructions.
⚠️ Maritime security across the Gulf of Oman is coming under increasing pressure as tensions surrounding Iran’s blockade continue to escalate.
🚨🇬🇧 IS THE UK PREPARING FOR A NATIONAL BLACKOUT? THE BBC HAS AN EMERGENCY PLAN READY.
Imagine waking up to find the electricity gone, mobile phones not working, the internet down and communication across the country severely disrupted.
The BBC has reportedly developed a secret emergency broadcasting operation designed to keep Britain informed if a major blackout or cyberattack hits.
Around 100 BBC staff could operate from a specially equipped emergency studio, with independent power, food, water and fuel supplies to keep broadcasts running for at least 72 hours.
And here’s the important part: the plan relies on traditional FM radio, meaning vital information could still reach the public even if the internet and mobile networks collapse.
Meanwhile, the UK is being urged to prepare for at least 72 hours without essential services.
This doesn’t mean a blackout is imminent. But it does raise an important question:
If everything went offline tomorrow, would you and your family be prepared?
A working radio, torches, batteries, bottled water and essential supplies could make all the difference.
⚠️ Don’t panic. Don’t ignore it. Be prepared.

🚨 BREAKING: Iran has launched the distribution of iodine tablets to residents living near key nuclear facilities, including the heavily fortified Pickaxe Mountain complex, amid fears that a potential U.S. strike could trigger radioactive contamination, according to The Times.
An Iranian Health Ministry official confirmed that the tablets are being distributed to people living within a 2–3 km radius of nuclear sites, alongside guidance on emergency survival measures.
“Yes, we are distributing iodine. During every war, we have tried to distribute it within a two-to-three-kilometre radius of nuclear facilities. Trump can no longer be trusted. He may go through with this crime,” the official said.
The preparations underscore Tehran’s concerns about the potential fallout of a U.S. military attack on its nuclear infrastructure, with communities surrounding sensitive installations receiving particular attention.
