For the past week or so, my Twitter account has started following accounts without me knowing and when they show up on my timeline I get so confused. ๐ญ๐ญ
Hell yeah
โBring Me to Lifeโ is the debut single from Evanescenceโs 2003 album Fallen. Featuring guest vocals by Paul McCoy of 12 Stones, the dramatic fusion of gothic rock, nu metal and orchestral elements became the band's breakthrough hit. It reached #5 on the Billboard Hot 100, #1 in the UK, #1 in Australia, #1 in Italy and topped the charts in several other countries, helping Fallen become one of the best-selling debut albums of the 21st century.
Amy Lee originally envisioned the song as a solo vocal performance, but the record label insisted on adding a male singer because they believed rock radio needed a male voice to market the track. Although Lee later expressed frustration with that decision, the song became an international phenomenon after its prominent use in the 2003 film Daredevil, earning Evanescence the Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance in 2004.
