9–5 should no longer be called 9–5. It should be 6–10, especially in Lagos. You see people leaving home as early as 5:30 a.m. just to beat traffic and get to work by 6 a.m. By the time they close, deal with heavy workloads and battle traffic again, they sometimes don’t get home until 10 p.m. Adulthood in Lagos is a different kind of hustle.
