Mumia came of age politically in the 1960s amid the racist backlash against the Civil Rights movement and a black nationalist rejection of MLK’s pacifist liberalism which left the conditions of urban black lives unchanged.
Here's a powerful Irish song by the Wolfe Tones against repression.
"And you dared to call me a terrorist
while you looked down your gun
I think of all the deeds that you had done
You had plundered many nations,
divided many lands
You had terrorized their peoples,
you ruled with an iron hand
And you brought this reign of terror to my land "
So true, relates in its way to wave of repression here by US Empire in the name that leftists are "terrorists." We invite our comrades, friends and fighters around the globe to arm us with the songs against imperialism, capitalism, and oppression where you are that inspire your fight.

We urge all leftists to follow the Partisan Defense Committee and get involved in the struggle to Free Mumia Abu-Jamal, voice of the voiceless and victim of racist police frame-up.
Former Black Panther and MOVE supporter Mumia Abu-Jamal was framed up for the killing of Philadelphia police officer Daniel Faulkner on December 9, 1981. Mumia spent 30 years on death row and is now 45 days shy of 45 years behind bars, despite massive evidence of his innocence. To mark this infamous anniversary, starting today, the PDC will be posting facts about Mumia’s frame-up for 45 consecutive days, to help revive the movement for his freedom. We must bring the fight to free Mumia and the lessons of this struggle to this generation of youth who face increased state repression.
The fight for Mumia’s freedom is not only urgently necessary to get this militant fighter for black liberation out of the dungeons he has languished in for most of his life, but it would also light some fire under the fights against racist cop terror, black oppression and the silencing of political dissent.

From Prairieland defendant Maricela Rueda greetings yesterday's Brooklyn united front rally to Free the Prairieland defendants, Defend anti-ICE protesters, Fight government repression of the left:
"Do you hear us? Are you with us?
Let me tell you my story
as it was intended,
that ends with the words that echo in my mind
as I sit isolated in a single cell,
but as long as you struggle with us
we cannot be forgotten,
they cannot succeed ,
from the belly of this beast we speak.
The precedent set federally must be fought
and to avoid the example Texas seeks to set
for other states
we need your eyes, ears and support
to counter this campaign of terror
meant to attack all of our communities."

Join the RSC in condemning the violent assault on comrade Trevor Seiko!
(Read the whole thread below.)
Replying to @RevolutionCPM
in the students strike Comrade Trevor Seiko was violently assaulted by armed assailants wielding crude weapons, including stones, rungus and pangas. The attack left him with a broken hand, injuries to his head, and injuries to his leg.
Today's Brooklyn united front rally against government repression was a big success. It drew around 120 to hear from 4 imprisoned Prairieland Defendants (2 live by phone), a Minnesota 15 defendant, 2 LA anti-ICE protesters who beat federal charges, and a number of endorsers.
Very leftwing, positive, and left everyone motivated to renew and broaden the fight against government repression of the left.
An injury to one is an injury to all! Thanks to everyone who made it happen! More to come...
Rally today!

The NYPD killed another unarmed black man, Koran Irvine, on Tuesday. That the killer cop was retired doesn’t matter. The bottom line is: just being black and driving home from a hard day of work makes the racist pigs think they have a free license to snuff out your life with no consequence.
The former cop, Victor Romero, shot Irvine and then fled. He let Irvine bleed out because he knew he could get away with it. Indeed, Mamdani’s courts just released the killer to go home. Meanwhile, Irvine’s family and coworkers are left in anguish and wanting justice.
Irvine was just 46 years old, a 20-year veteran ConEd worker and father of two. This shows exactly why the fight against black oppression is a working-class fight.
We can’t let them get away with this!
ConEd and other workers should mobilize to protest this atrocity.
OPA now!
