What a load of bollocks. How do these people get away with this everyday? He said it with a straight face.
It would be useful if they list all the referees who accepted gifts and favours from man city and Chelsea over the years. Their numbers and whereabouts would be nice. Until then they should STFU.
How have we reached a common consensus that refs aren't impartial if you complain about them?
Isn't that highly unprofessional? Are referees not paid to be above the pantomime of the Premier League?
Even this comment, from an ex-ref, stating that refs are fine being theatre props is deeply alarming. We don't want refs to be part of the show; they should be background noise, like they were at the World Cup.

This is the problem with this pub punditry they serve to us. He knew full well Carrick is nowhere near suitable for this club but played along with his mates (Scholseh and Nicky Buh) to hype up another Man United disaster class. Great for ratings tho. 🙄
