Poland just showed us how this ends. Pay attention. Last night in Warsaw, armed state officers escorted seven judges into Poland’s Constitutional Tribunal. The court’s president was declared suspended. Riot police locked the doors. The President of the Republic turned his plane around mid-flight, walked up to the building, and had to push his way past judges to get inside his own nation’s highest court. The government says it is restoring the rule of law. The opposition says it is a coup. Both sides quote the constitution at each other while men in riot gear decide who gets through the door. Here is the lesson. 1. Somebody is going to rule you. The only question is who. There is no neutral state. Every law is somebody’s morality with a badge. If Christians will not govern, pagans and atheists will, and they will govern against your GOD and family. “When one rules justly over men, ruling in the fear of God, he dawns on them like the morning light” (2 Samuel 23:3-4). God’s standard for a magistrate was never “secular.” It was “able men who fear God, who are trustworthy and hate a bribe” (Exodus 18:21). That is Christian Nationalism. Christians ruled by Christians under Christ. Anything else is Christians ruled by their enemies. 2. Whoever holds the pen rewrites the law. PiS packed the court in 2015. Tusk is unpacking it by force in 2026. Each side believes it is the lawful one. When a nation loses a shared standard above the state, “rule of law” just means “rule of whoever won last.” Proverbs 29:2: “When the righteous increase, the people rejoice, but when the wicked rule, the people groan.” The law has to answer to something higher than the next election. It has to answer to God. 3. Cultural Christianity does not hold the line. Poland is 90 percent baptized. There are crucifixes in its parliament. And this same week, thousands marched in Polish streets demanding abortion, while fewer than one in three hundred Poles sit under gospel preaching on Sunday. A nation can be covered in crosses and empty of Christ. Heritage is not discipleship. A country does not get Christian rulers from pagan households. 4. You cannot outsource your hope to a court. Both Polish camps spent a decade believing the Tribunal would save them. Now the Tribunal is the battlefield. “Put not your trust in princes” (Psalm 146:3). Christian rule is not a judge you hope for. It is men you raise, send, and seat. 5. Institutions are captured quietly, then held loudly. The seven judges walked in on a Friday night when the staff was gone. That is how it always happens. Not with tanks. With paperwork, timing, and a locked door. If godly men are not in the building, ungodly men will be. What we do here: Build the household. Family worship every night. Catechize your sons to rule and your daughters to build rulers. Your home is the first jurisdiction and the one no court can seize. Build the church. Faithful elders, disciplined members, men trained to lead. Christian magistrates come out of Christian congregations or they do not come at all. Take the offices. Sheriff. School board. County commission. State house. Run, or recruit and fund the man who will. “Be wise, O kings; be warned, O rulers of the earth. Serve the LORD with fear” (Psalm 2:10-11). That command is not optional for a Christian with a ballot or a filing deadline. Pray for Poland. Then put Christians in every seat you can reach so nobody has to pray for us. “The LORD has established his throne in the heavens, and his kingdom rules over all.” Psalm 103:19. That court sits in Warsaw. Ours sits higher, and it claims every court beneath it.

POLAND UPDATE AND LESSON: “We are judges.” “You are not judges.” That exchange happened at 1 a.m. inside the nation’s highest court. A judge installed by the ruling party’s parliament, standing behind riot police, told the President of the Republic she was the law. He told her she was not. Then he stayed in the building until five in the morning so nobody could say he left. Who was right? Here is the hard truth: inside that building, there was no one left to ask. When a nation has no authority both sides bow to, legitimacy comes down to who holds the keys at midnight. Proverbs 28:2: “When a land transgresses, it has many rulers.” Many rulers. All claiming the robe. None agreeing on the law. That is not a Polish problem. That is what every nation becomes when it throws out the Judge above the judges. “The LORD is our judge; the LORD is our lawgiver; the LORD is our king; he will save us” (Isaiah 33:22). Strike that out and you don’t get neutrality. You get two people in a hallway at 1 a.m. shouting “I am the judge” at each other, with riot police outside and crowds throwing projectiles at the fence. Understand what you watched. On paper, Poland is the most Christian country on the planet. Over 90 percent baptized. A crucifix hanging in the parliament chamber. The nation that gave the world John Paul II and broke Soviet communism with a labor union and a rosary. A thousand years of Christian history. And that country went from cold civil war to a locked door and a police cordon in one Friday night. It did not take a collapse. It took a decade of two sides refusing to recognize each other’s judges, and then one evening when somebody decided to stop arguing and start holding the building. If it can happen there, with all those crosses, do not tell me it cannot happen here. We have been in a cold civil war in this country for decades, and stop pretending it’s about tax rates. It is two nations under one flag that do not agree on what a human being is. One side cannot tell you what a woman is. The other side has known since Genesis 2. One side cannot decide which bathroom a grown man belongs in. The other side’s 3 year old already knows. One side will put a child on puberty blockers at twelve and call it care. The other side calls it what Scripture calls it, an ABOMINATION. One side fought to repeal the laws that protected a child who survives an abortion. The other side believes “you knitted me together in my mother’s womb” (Psalm 139:13) and will not move. One side thinks the law comes from whoever won last November. The other side knows it came down a mountain on stone. There is no compromise between those two nations. There is no bathroom-sharing agreement coming. There is only the question of which one governs, and whether the men of the second nation are ready for the Friday night when the first one decides to stop arguing. Connect the dots. Warsaw had riot police at the court within hours. The judges who wanted the building had the state’s armed officers walking them in. The side that held the keys at midnight had men with guns at the door, and the side that didn’t had a crowd at the fence. That is how every one of these ends. Not with an argument. With who is armed, who is fed, who is organized, and who has somewhere to stand. “The prudent sees danger and hides himself, but the simple go on and suffer for it” (Proverbs 22:3). Nehemiah’s men built the wall with a trowel in one hand and a sword in the other. Not one or the other. Both. Readiness is not fear. Readiness is what fathers do. “If anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith” (1 Timothy 5:8). Provision includes protection. A man who stocks the pantry and cannot defend the door has stocked the pantry for somebody else. I spent sixteen years as a SEAL and IDC corpsman and years on a SWAT team, and I’ve spent thirteen years teaching churches how to survive the worst day of their lives. This week I’m going to lay out exactly how a Christian household gets ready: water, food, medical, comms, weapons and training, and the one thing most preppers skip: a church community that already knows how to function when the lights go out. Then look at your front door and ask yourself honestly who’s defending it and how if the mob comes for you and yours. If you don’t like the answer, you know what the deep dive is for. Poland’s problem is not that bad men showed up. It’s that for a generation, good men stayed home and assumed the lights would stay on. Don’t be that generation. And don’t be the lone house on the street either; that’s just a target with a pantry. Be part of a church that can stand together when the lights go out. Then understand the second half of the mission. We get ready for the Friday night so that we survive it. We preach the gospel so that it never comes. Those two nations will never meet in the middle, but men cross over from one to the other every day, and the only thing that moves them is Christ. Nehemiah’s men held the sword so the wall could get built. The wall was the point. Get ready. Then go win your neighbor, so there’s nobody left on the other side of the fence. Many are scared and have started prepping now. You should be extra concerned when governments start prepping all of a sudden. Prep anyway. Not scared. Prepping is not fear. It is Provide. "Go to the ant, O sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise. Without having any chief, officer, or ruler, she prepares her bread in summer and gathers her food in harvest." Proverbs 6:6-8 She does not panic. She does not wait on the government. She stores. A man who protects, provides, and disciples has food, water, medicine, weapons, and ammo in his house before the news tells him to. That is not anxiety. That is a father. Every house. Every man. Yes, you failed for not doing it sooner. Do it now, every day, because it is your job as a man to Protect, Provide, and Disciple. This is obviously a horrible situation. The cops should have shot her way sooner. I am relieved that none of them were hurt. How evil do you have to be to do this to your children? Oh wait. Women want to be able to kill children even after birth, so I guess it makes sense...
