This time, Jae is more careful. The twins are almost always with him, and Datu is around even when he shouldn't (he has a job!). The guard is even more protective than before, and when he's not there, Daemin is there to keep an eye on Jae [8/11]
Datu cries when he sees his daughter, who smiles at him when he picks her up. She has Datu's hair and skin, but also Jae's eyes. She's perfect. He is so proud of Jae, and very sorry for not being there while he was delivering [10/11]
Now, after spending so much time with the twins, Jae believes he is ready. It has been years, and he can't stay in that hole for longer. So he talks with Datu, and they try again. [7/11]
This routine kept going for months. And in a desperate attempt to help Jae, Datu went to captain Karthik for the support he needed. The captain sent a therapist for both of them, who would treat them individually. [4/11]
Datu realised he had been neglecting his own grief to keep Jae alive, and that he too deserved to grieve their little one. As for Jae, it took longer for him to open up, but they had no rush, they would wait for him to be ready [5/11]
The doctor came in, and gave them the terrible news: Jae had lost the baby. When they returned home, Jae stayed inside their room while Datu stayed outside. Their life became that, Jae being unable to do anything, drowning in his depression while Datu tried to help him [3/11]
But one day, during one of Jae's free days, some bandits attacked the area he was in. Of course, he fought to defend the people, but he was injured pretty badly and was sent to the hospital. When he woke up, Datu was with him, looking terrified [2/11]

Long before Jae ever met the twins, they had tried for a baby. And everything went so well. Jae had made his research, he knew what he could and couldn't do. Datu stood by his side through all of it [1/11]
I had an idea but it鈥檚 just Jae suffering even more and Datu picking up the pieces (maybe I鈥檒l write something small)
